Supposed to be open at 7am. It's now 7:42am and shop is closed (and not for the first time either). Don't think the management care about business opening hours at all which makes no sense considering this Miss is under new management. On another note, every time I've bought anything from the freezer there are always lumps of ice in it. The ice cream is dreadful too. Not stored correctly
Staff are lovely and stock is usually OK but don’t trust the Google “opening times” - I’ve tried to pop in to get a drink before work at 9am weekdays and it’s still not open
Absolute joke! Check your bill! Many, many times they will have discounted their products and then charge you full price at the till? For those that don’t check, check your receipts. Girl with the blue hair is so miserable and never apologises for their errors! They purposely discount products to encourage you to buy and then charge you full price at the till. Happens way too often! Get it right and stop robbing your customers!
How wrong can you get one small order?! 2 x 70g Doritos is not the same as a 180g pack yet I've been charged for the large pack. 2 x cheap nasty thin bacon @ £1.59 each should is not the same as the Danish bacon advertised which I've been charged for. And worse... I ordered Halal chicken from the Halal part of the menu, only to get Bernard Matthews standard chicken slices . Absolute disgrace.
Welcome to your local NISA. The store that shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and protection of our environment. FYI you can't recycle soup...
Since this became a Nisa store, not only have prices increased, but COVID-19 prevention measures have disappeared. I went into the store and none of the staff members were wearing masks. There was zero social distancing and produce was scattered everywhere. The new owners clearly have no concern for their staff and customers' safety, and I have no faith that they will even be cleaning the store properly given the state I saw it in. Avoid at all costs!
I have just been in the Nisa at Lancaster Road. As I entered there was an employee checking the fruit and veg with his mask pulled down over his chin - picking fresh produce up and putting it down. I looked over to the cashier and he was also wearing his mask over his chin. I asked the chap I checking the fruit and veg if he would put on his mask, which he did so. As I walked around the store I noticed another gentleman who was checking produce on the bakery and then in the fridge. This gentleman was not wearing a mask at all. Also to hold open the fridge door he used his knee whilst he put his head more or less inside the fridge. So I spied three employees - none of whom were protecting their customers
If I could give a zero rating, I would. This was a local Co op store. Overnight it is a Nisa store. Nothing nice about the staff or their prices. Prices have shot up. Whilst at the till on Christmas eve in the middle of Covid, there was no visible effort to encourage social distancing. A staff member pushed past me without an "excuse me". No staff in the store were practicing good Covid hygiene. At the till it was very much pay up and move on. It seems the new owners are only interested in making money. A bad move in this instance by Co op. I will not be supporting this store.
