Very bad customer service by the asian lady. I told her to help me at the checkouts she made bad faces and was not interested to serve.

Bought a litre of whole milk that smelled and tasted like it had gone off and when I went to get a refund they said they couldn't give me one because it had taken 'longer than 30 minutes'.

The Asian dark skin lady with glasses that works at the counter was super rude. Not just shouted at a customer but also dashed and threw my items on the counter. When we questioned her, she started shouting and cussing. The worst Poundland that I have ever been to. Poundland, please train your staff as this is totally an unacceptable behaviour. This is not the first time it’s happening to us. My friends went through the same experience visiting the Plumstead Poundland as well.

A genius of a store in my opinion and the refurbishment to add the women’s, men’s and children’s clothing is very clever. Thank you for being my little helper and my new born with educational toys, blankets, vaseline, lovely fragrance wipes, baby powder, baby lotion/bath time. For a bit of self care and wellness for moms/dads - body scrubs, body sprays, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower gels, perfume, shampoo/EightTripleEight Coconut conditioner for my Postpartum hair loss-this was amazing for my hair, face mask ect. Great clothing items for girls too and bits for teenage boys/girls. We can’t forget the toiletries and laundry products, candles, pets and garden area, stationery and food/sweets and much more . It’s a great family store and I am grateful to have this one nearby. Thank You Poundland!

Really weird interaction with the sales assistant when using the self scan. I was just finishing up when she rushed over and grabs my receipt which has just finished printing and is about to screw it up as rubbish along with a couple of others that she had got from the floor. When I said 'that's mine' to stop her (I keep receipts for budgeting) it seemed to be a hassle for her to give it back. Then she told me to move over as I was putting my items in my bag, so she could get to a receipt on the floor near my feet. I hadn't even finished putting my stuff away so I told her she didn't have to rush me. It was very rude and uncomfortable and a bit stressful being hurried like that for no reason. I was not slow in my actions and it was quiet. There wasn't even anyone in the queue behind me, or anyone else being served, There was maybe about 2 customers in the shop overall, it was v quiet. It was very weird and not nice and left me feeling really annoyed.

Self service tills never seem to be working, which is a pain because this is a very popular shop, with long queues sometimes. But Poundland remains excellent value all the same.

This place is insanely convenient. Its located directly on the High street, and the locals have a really short access distance; they could easily come to this place in less than a 1 minute. It has also a large variety of items, so people don't need to wander into different stores to find an item.
