Decided to go into the pound shop today with my young brother that is diagnosed with autism and as he was picking up things and looking around he was asked to leave by the manger. I then said all customers are gonna pick things up to see if they are interested however the manger was not having it then asked us to leave claiming we were now banned. Me and my family found this rather upsetting I believe the mangers name was Saqib or something along those lines. I asked to make a formal complaint about the experience. Then I was told to leave otherwise they would get security. I didn’t think this was the standard they are aiming for…. I would recommend going to the pound shop near the metro bank as they don’t discriminate those with neurological and developmental disorder
The man in the tills touched the screen adding +0,25 to my shopping. I placed my phone to pay and I saw it and he said I had donate, but I didn´t. I told him he did, he touched the screen acepting the donation, in that moment more customers start queueing behind me and the finally made a refund for one of the products and then he charged it for 0.75. If I don't check the screen I would never see it. If I want to donate I will do it by myself. Do not LIE saying I have donate something when YOU TOUCHED THE SCREEN FOR ME. UNACCEPTABLE!!
This place is not the same. Gone are the bargains you're paying the same price as Asda next door for a lot of items, check first. I'm not sure who is paying the heating bill in this store. It felt like I was abroad. It was so hot felt like I was shopping in the Mediterranean.

No longer can this be called Poundland. It's a convenience store. Most things are not a pound anymore.
Terrible experience, I was there with a friend and we decided to get dome candy that was 1 pound. We come to the till and we decide to pay 30 pence in card and 70 pence in coins. The cashier says no and He says its not possible. Me and my friend came home starving.

Disgusting till worker. (Older white lady ) Told a brown gentleman that he's in the wrong queue and made him go to the back of the one queue, yet moments later a white gentleman make the same error but its ok ill see you she says!. Its ok to serve him as he's white. When I question her actioned she rolled her eyes and tells me its ok as the lady behind me said it was ok. I said but u didn't do that for the other guy. Said your eyes are very selective and she started shouting and I walked out. I called and left a message for management as they need go address her behaviour.
It's like any other Poundland but gets awfully busy on weekends with not enough staff to help clear up people's rummaging and merchandise left in a disorderly state making it difficult for new customers in certain sections to find what they are looking for. Laid back atmosphere freedom to browse.
