I bought dji pocket 2. It was faulty and within two days i went argo’s back for return and they refused to take it back. There was lady said we are not engineer and we can not fix it or replace it. I explained her its not about engineer its about your policy return within 30 days but she refused. Very disappointment with service.
This Argos has one of the rudest Manager ever called Katie who doesn’t know how to talk with customers and very unprofessional and need more training as is lacking skills. This manager said I couldn’t return a mattress that was still in its packaging. She didn’t even bother looking at my warranty and The cover that I had for damage and repairs. Anyway, I managed to return my mattress and got my full refund. What made me more angry is as we walked off her and her colleague pointed and laughed which was very very rude.
It doesn’t seem Argos are getting the message about manager Katie. She is one of the most ill mannered managers I have ever spoken to and I don’t seem to be alone in feeling this way. Katie was extremely rude and patronising when speaking to me regarding a return. I was calmly talking to her about a return, and she became so defensive and refused to return my item. Rather than talking diplomatically and listening, she resorted to constantly repeating over and over “This conversation is over” as if we were having a playground argument. I pulled her up on this as I was very calm and had no intention of having an argument. But she carried on patronising me. Very unprofessional, very childish. She clearly does not know the mannerisms required of this role and needs educating on customer services. I’m stunned Argos hired her for the job. Had to drive down to Newbury Park Argos and do my returns there. No hassle at all as it should be. Will be going there from now on.
Today I went this store for order something, I can’t order by self service because it was slow I called a lady to help me she came and said rudely do it this page and go, I was stacked then I see she is sitting inside using the phone. She was so Rude. then I see one men coming I called him, he solved my problems by main counter .
I had a very bad customer service experience at this store. I went there to exchanged a Keyboard piano that I bought last year November for my daughter’s Christmas gift. This is still under the manufacturer one year warranty. One of the keys had pulled out which is no fault of ours. This resulted in some of the keys not working. I explained this to the lady that I met there who told me that I would have to call the manufacturer. As I was about to start telling the lady that it wasn’t our fault, the man standing next to her rudely interrupted saying that it is accidental damage and there is nothing they can do. So the lady gave me the phone number and I went away. I called the manufacturer the following day and I was given a code so that I could take it back to the store for exchange. I went back there, Saw the rude man of the previous day (I totally forgot to take his name) and I told him that I got a code. He didn’t even give me the opportunity to show the code, he kept on saying to me in a very rude manner that he can’t take it from me. And that there’s nothing he can do. So I called the manufacturer right there at the store, told them what was happening and I was told that Argos should replace it for me. The man on the phone told me to give him my phone so that he could talk to him. The rude man said that he didn’t want to talk to him. At the end I had to go to Argos in Romford The Brewery where a very nice lady replaced it for me. I would not go back to this store as the customer service is very very bad and I felt that I was rudely dismissed. The store deserved no star at all.
Long queue, slow service, rude staff, unprofessional behaviour. Customer jump queues, staff ignored you whilst you are obviously waiting and standing in front ofbthe counter. Ordered a photo frame and it was broken, ordered the second one, it was broken too. To the staff and showed them the product. Shouldnt have resale it but ended up getting the same broken one. Complete rubbish service. Now heading to my third return, thats really stupid.
Ordered two new phone chargers. Collected and went home. When I opened the bag it turned out that the staff had provided one phone charger and one phone cable. I then had to drive off back to Argos to request the correct product. Frustrating as it should not off happened when they ask you for your receipt and check the product and quantity.
Argos is useless I ordered the bed but they didn't say u got to buy the mattress separately the at staff should ask if u need a mattress the staff on the phone not ok
From the reviews I have read it is evident that Argos need to do better. Devon the manager has questionable experience and has shown to be awful in their position
Worst customer service ever from the manager- Devon. Absolutely no customer service skills and arrogant as if she owns the store. Needs some additional training and needs to be taught how to deal with customers. Can’t believe a manager thinks it’s ok to gossip about customers infront of their faces. Will be making a formal complaint to the head office and won’t ever be going back to this store again! So many other local Argos stores with better service and appreciation for their customers who basically pay their wages.
