My dog went here for a week and she was well cared for and looked after, both management and staff was very reassuring when I contacted them about my dog. Very pleased with this service and would highly recommend to anybody.
I was worried about leaving my Lexi at the kennels because it was the first she ever stayed at a place like that. But I am really pleased and already booked another stay for Lexi for September. The ladies were reassuring and they said Lexi was a lovely dog. Lexi looked really happy and she is absolutely fine. I'd recommend the kennels to everyone.
DO NOT leave your pets here! Was asked to confirm upon booking of microchips for both dogs which we confirmed -was not told to bring proof of this when we have called twice.No checklist given. Upon dropping off this morning the person answering the bell was rude , then when going to the office -the old lady with the terrible lip filler poked her head out (not even saying hello to us or the dogs ) and shouted at us have you got their vaccine cards .Husband went in the office where the doll lady passed the cards around showing the whole staff team making him feel really uncomfortable. Then a young girl who was feeding the dogs stepped over our dog not even saying hello which makes you feel really uncomfortable if they do this with you here what do they do when we are not here .Old lady then called to say we can’t drop them off today as she was closing (approx 11am) to which my husband went to say we aren’t comfortable leaving our dogs as she was rude and unprofessional to which the old lady put the phone down on him! Goes to say-trust your gut and give a very very wide birth! One star is far to generous !(ps we had microchips on a different vaccine card we just didn’t know as it was our first time using kennels)
Very clean and well kept boarding kennels.. This is now the only kennels I will use, as other local ones just aren't kept to the same standard.
Our dog Molly loves her stays at Hillways, so much so that she even gets really excited when we’re going down the drive! Chris is really kind and was so accommodating when I was pregnant and needed a last minute booking due to needing to go in to hospital unexpectedly. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Highly recommended. Our dog amber always gets her same spot every time she stays over. 5 ⭐️ treatment all the way from staff who always put the pets first. Thank you so much.
Boarded my dog here for 10 days and on drop off explained he has some issues and were fully honest about them. On collection were spoken to in an incredibly rude and patronising manner. We were made to feel like we had hidden information, which we hadn’t. Other than being moaned at for one small issue (due to no fault of our own), there was no real handover as to our dogs time in the kennels. We will not be using this kennels again and would not recommend to anyone.
Extremely rude and unhelpful even after me being anxious on drop off of my cat she showed no empathy and said you said he was fine!! He had never been left anywhere and was quite horrible I will not be using hillsway again and will not be recommending them, if you can't be bothered to be nice and caring then don't bother animals are like humans and deserve a nice place to be when away from home very unhappy
