   The tall woman working the bakery is about as helpful as a trapdoor in a canoe! I'm a frequent shopper at M&S Woolwich and she's never friendly and her service today was abysmal! I asked her to slice a sourdough and she said she was too busy! She needs a lesson in customer service! If she doesn't want to work there then she shouldn't be there giving M&S a bad name! Absolutely dreadful employee!

   Honestly it’s really good in here. They have a huge selection of things despite being only small. If you think they don’t have something you can ask a very knowledgeable member of staff and they will tell you where it in in a nice way. The best thing about this place is the tills. The queue could be 1 mile long and be done within 10 mins. Not sure how it’s so efficient.

   I had a wonderful experience with some staff members at the checkout counter today here in my neighbourhood shop. She greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile and took the time to answer all my questions about the local products. It truly made my day to feel so appreciated and cared for by someone who genuinely knows the community. I’m definitely looking forward to returning and will happily recommend their friendly service to friends and family!

   On the morning of Friday, August 29th, the bakery shift really nailed it with their bread. I’ve noticed over the past few months that the crust has been perfectly crunchy on the outside, but the dough felt a bit heavy, and there was a slight off smell, almost like it had been baked on an older table or dish. I didn’t buy bread every day, but when I did, it wasn't always the most enjoyable. However, I have to say, the morning shift on the 29th really made some fantastic baguette that day!

   This M & S Food store is located next to Woolwich (Elizabeth line) station. It is very easy to get your snacks and drinks on the go from this store. It also has a bakery selling fresh pastries and bread. Moreover, it has relatively good selection of ready made meals for busy customers. The staff are friendly and there are a lot of self service tills available.

   Never have any luck here ( can't seem to find what I want due to low stock). But, it's close to transport links which is great and a nice addition to Woolwich and the old arsenal.
