I called for some advice regarding my pregnant snake — she’s doing absolutely fine, but I had a few questions and preferred to get direct answers rather than rely on conflicting online information. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive, speaking to me as if I were ignorant. My snakes are well cared for and very content. I simply didn’t want to risk stressing her out by moving the male unless it was truly necessary — which is why I reached out for clarity from someone with experience. I’ve done my research, but there’s a lot of contradictory advice out there, and as this is my first time breeding, I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. I even have cameras set up to monitor the situation closely. Instead of receiving support, I was met with attitude and awkward silence. Being new to breeding doesn’t make me unintelligent, and the way I was spoken to was unfair and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I won’t be purchasing anything from this business again.
Dean is full of knowledge and so helpful with anything you need to know, we'll stocked shop, all vivs were really clean as was the shop. The best reptile shop in Devon as far as I'm concerned.
My partners snake almost died 2 months after getting it from this place due to the wrong soil being given and the wrong type of tank, lucky it was taken to a vets before anything serious happened otherwise I would personally come in store to take the money back and leave the shops in pieces. Great shop, simply the best choice of reptiles, often bread by the owner Dean. Got all but one of my snakes from him and would recommend to anyone. Always available for great advice on the husbandry of animals too.
Dean is knowledgeable and overly helpful. The enclosures are spotless and the animals are of the highest quality. Never had an issue with any of many reptiles I've purchased from DM Reptiles. Great service.
