Really good for a hotel gym. Lots of clean new equipment and motivated staff. A bit cramped but it is a hotel gym so not a problem.

Staff very welcoming and friendly and was happy to give me a tour of their facilities. To be honest I don't know what I expected but it was a bit of a anti climax when I saw the size of the gym, it was a great deal smaller than I imagined. The pool was very small and I was told that it was not deep and you can walk all the way through it. The water temperature is always set, so you will never experience a nasty shock because the pool is cold. To one side of the pool there is a circular bubble/ massager, which I believe is the same as a hot tub. The changing rooms were very clean and all lockers were secure also there is a swimming costume drier, so say goodbye to your soggy gym bag. The gym itself is decked out with the latest running, cycling and rowing machines and a small side room is full of weights. They have a steam room too but I didn't actually go inside. Memberships come as 2 tariffs, the dearest costing £43 but includes certain discounts on rooms at the hotel, bar food and drinks. Plus on your first beauty treatment you receive a whooping 50% off.

Living well is a clean and healthy swimming pool and the GYM is very clean and it has good equipment to use. The management and the team are very friendly and very professional people with manners and respect. I have been with them for more than 5 years and I am happy to stay with them.

Tiny gym and rude staff and the steam room hardly ever works!

Many times crisps are found all over the floor in the changing room, don’t really want to be stepping on orange Doritos bare foot after I’ve just got out of the pool. The steam room recently keeps going in and out of order, so hit or miss whether the steam room is usable on the day or not. The “jacuzzi” isn’t great, not many bubbles at all. And like other reviews, the pool is cold most of the time. Also god forbid anyone was to have an accident in the pool or to start drowning, because there is no life guard on duty.

Plenty of equipment so you don't often have to wait. Staff helpful and it is generally clean though a close look does reveal dust in some places. But overall a pleasant experience.

The club is clean and generally well organised. However, the pool area is very poorly lit, with pool lights not active and only a few spotlights lighting the area - although this may not be a health and safety issue (although the lack of light is certainly a potential risk) - the atmosphere is generally poor and un active. In addition, the bubble pool is very poor indeed and in need of a much needed upgrade. Attitude from staff is impersonal but polite with the manager regularly being seen - however, the general desire to improve things seems to be lacking. With a lot of Club Moativation members now transferring to this club (due to a fire) - this needs to be used as a catalyst to improve swim facilities. The gym itself is considerably better and provides a good range of facilities - with the staff being well informed.
