My dogs have used Penquite Petcare, for approximately 30 years. The owners keep an excellent set of kennels. When I pick up my dog, she always looks happy and well cared for. I would give 10/10, for all aspects of Penquite Petcare.
We have previously used these Kennels before a few months prior for two nights for our dog and thought all was well as no issues upon collecting him, owners very friendly and the site itself is lovely and clean. So thought he’d be no problem going again for 3 nights whilst we went away to visit family and then booked him in again this coming July for two weeks for us to go on our honeymoon. Upon collecting him, we were told that he had been barking a lot and that they had received complaints from their neighbours and that they wouldn’t have him again. This was obviously a huge worry for us as finding another Kennel to have our dog 5 weeks prior to our honeymoon is nearly impossible. We have called nearly every kennels with excellent ratings between Cornwall and Birmingham and we are unable to find any vacancies meaning our non-refundable honeymoon will more then likely have to be cancelled. I understand the complaint is out of their control but this is a dog kennel that has previously looked after our dog and if they felt he barked too much then they shouldn’t have taken both this booking and our two week booking. We have never had complaints from other kennels and always been told he is a lovely natured dog but makes me wonder how much they have exercised him. At the end of the day dogs will bark especially when away from home.
Couldn't think of a better place to leave my best friend, great facilities friendly staff supper location. One of the few places my two boy's are happy to go too.
Our girls Lily and Pepper have just had another week with Lorraine and her husband. Once again they have been looked after exceptionally well. We can go away with confidence and satisfaction knowing our girls are safe. They are both boxers and not the easiest to look after. Thank you again Lorraine. See you in March
This is a great kennel's and cattery I trust my beloved jack Russell with auntie Lorraine a couple of times a year. So clean and well run they all work very hard to maintain a good standard, brilliant!
Fantastic kennels. Our dog absolutely loved the owners and had a great time. 100% would recommend and will be using them again
Lorraine and Dennis were so professional and understanding with my dog reactive dog Frankie. They took great care of him and put him in the kennel where he’d be less stressed. Beautiful setting, clean and well looked after dogs. Can’t thank you enough see you in 2 weeks!
