I’ve had exceptional service from the teams at St Columb and Bodmin for my cats Binx and Mrs Miggins. The staff are lovely and there’s none of the money grabbing behaviour that I have experienced elsewhere. I always recommend if asked by friends and neighbours. Thanks all.
We went to the Bodmin branch of Penmellyn vets and we were very pleased with the experience. Our cat was carefully examined and the vet dealt with our concerns. She gave us reassurance and advise with ongoing care.
We take both our Pups to Penmellyn Vets at Holmbush and they are always lovely and friendly and our pups have always received excellent care .
These guys are the best I've had to visit with my beautiful yorkie . The vet nurse and other assistants lovely girls. The vet is very competent and friendly. Certainly does no his speciality. Superb veterinary in bodmin Cornwall.
This veterinary practice is a friendly and well run practice. The staff always have a smile and a warm greeting both to the pet owners and the pets themselves. Consultation and treatment are held in a friendly environment and the Vets are kind and gentle towards my pets. I would highly recommend this them to anyone looking for a good Veterinary practice that makes you and your pet feel relaxed.
Such a lovely vets, have had 3 of my cats go to this vet, and they always made sure they were okay and did their best. They are also very understanding here which it great.
Our girl of 14 years was taken ill suddenly on christmas eve and after extensive tests and a poor prognosis we took the difficult decision of putting her to sleep, both Bodmin and st columb practices went above and beyond and we will be forever grateful.
Penmellyn vets seem OK. They usually offer quick, often same day appointments, which is a plus but, like almost all vets, the prices are high. £60 for a consultation lasting less than 10 minutes feels overpriced but its probably similar to other vets in the area?
We had our first in person visit here yesterday after switching from a vet that let us with little confidence. From the moment we arrived, a lovely lady on reception Debbie welcomed us in such a friendly way that it instantly put us at ease. We also have a fear reactive doggie on lead so we were allowed to wait in the car to be called for our appointment, but not only that this is the first practice we have ever visited that hasn’t made us feel embarrassed or judged and just really understood that not all dogs have had the best start and they all have individual needs, so we were truly grateful for that. We saw the vet Rachel who was also very kind and explained things to us in a way that was easy to understand but with real care. She also explained all fees of a dental we asked about, but she said it’s not urgent for now. This showed us our Luna was our first at this practice, not money and that was lovely to see. Our Luna is usually a shaking mess in a vets, but yesterday she was calm and relaxed and the vet even sat on the floor when examining her at one point and Luna looked so settled. When it was time for us to go, the vet kindly asked the next appointment to wait in their car just a moment so we could get Luna out with no stress, they really do go the extra mile. Sorry for the long review, but I think their kind work and their understanding should be recognised. The last thing Debbie on reception said to us yesterday was “you are with us now, so you call and visit when you need. No question or concern is silly”. It was the kindest thing we have ever heard. Thank you all, to have a rescue dog who can react in fear, this vets goes above and beyond :-)
I have found the welcome and treatment of my animals by reception and the vet seen exceptional from day 1. Friendly, professional and kind. I have every confidence in the treatment received and am so glad I chose this veterinary team after moving here.
