I took my 10 month baby girl for ear piercing yesterday morning and the service was amazing. The lady that took care of us was very friendly and caring. The experience was great and I was surprisingly impressed by our my baby handled it thanks to her. Great work, I really recommend them.
I’m glad I had my ear piercing done at Claire’s. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they made me feel completely at ease. I didn’t feel any pain at all.
Disappointing Experience at Claire Victoria Centre I am deeply disappointed with the treatment my family received at Claire Victoria Centre. I visited with my baby to have her ears pierced a decision we made carefully and responsibly, even going as far as obtaining a formal letter of approval from her GP. Despite taking every precaution and following proper procedures, we were turned away. The staff outrightly refused to pierce my baby’s ears, even after reviewing the GP's letter. Their attitude was dismissive and unaccommodating, making us feel both rejected and unfairly judged. It felt less like a concern for safety, and more like discrimination masked as policy. If they have a policy against piercing babies' ears even with medical clearance this should be clearly stated upfront. Wasting people’s time and then treating them with disregard is unacceptable. I expected a professional and respectful experience, especially from a centre that presents itself as family-friendly. Unfortunately, what we received instead was poor communication, a lack of compassion, and an unnecessarily negative experience. I will not be returning because I don't think I can trust this place with your little one again.
2 weeks ago I took my 5 months baby girl to Claire's in Victoria Centre Nottingham to have her ears pierced. I was very worried and stressed after reading the previous reviews and I thought we'll just walk in and decide there if we'll carry on and have it done. I asked the girl who was there if she did it on babies obviously I was afraid she might be inexperienced but she was very calm and walk me through, she said they're piercing babies ears every day and she looked like she knew what she was doing. She also noticed I was worried and stressed and tried to put a smile on my face. She was very professional and inspired me trust and I decided to go ahead and have my daughter's ears pierced. She waited for her colleague to arrive to do both ears at the same time. Everything was very fast, baby cried for a few seconds then calmed down. I forgot to ask her name, she is truly one of the best people I've come across and very professional. Baby's ears are fine, no swallowing or infection, we are also using the rapid after care solution that came with the earrings 3 times/day. We'll definitely go back there and look for the same girl and I will recommend her to all my friends and family. I took my time to write this long review for all mums who are worried like I was. 5* for that chick she did a wonderful job

I took my 6 month old baby to get her ears pierced here. The 2 girls that did it were really informative, patient and reassuring.
Over the years of growing up I’ve got my first piercing here, watches, hair accessories, glitter sprays, nail polishes, headbands, phone cases, lots and lots of earrings and other little things I’ve picked up definitely great for younger children and adults really. wouldn’t recommend getting anything more then a first piercing here as you should get needles instead of guns as it’s safer and better for you.
We were in the shop today and they were piercing a baby’s ears which is completely wrong. People were walking out of the shop in disgust. This should not of been allowed. It’s a form of abuse. The baby is too young to consent to having pain inflicted on her.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Extremely poor customer service! Ordered 2 bags online which were very small and there were no instructions on how to return. No reciept/invoice provided so did not feel comfortable paying for return not knowing if I'll get my refund back. Don't waste your time ringing customer service because they won't answer or will either disconnect. Can't get a refund in store either because there is no reciept. This simply is not good enough. Been told to contact customer services but the staff in store know that its an endless loophole. So where do I go from here? £50 down the drain. Absolutely ridiculous.
