Very cosy, well equipped cottage, in a stunning location. Handy ferry links with Dartmouth and Greenway too.
Cracking little holiday let by the harbour. We loved our break away.
Lovely little cottage very close to the waterfront in Dittisham. Nearby are the Ferry Boar in and Anchor Cafe that serve good food and beers. You can get the small ferry across to Greenway (very good) or the bigger ferry down to Dartmouth (lovely journey but best book first as they only have limited capacity). The cottage is quite small. Downstairs has a galley kitchen and a small lounge diner. This has a sofa bed. Upstairs there is a large landing leading to a reasonably large single bedroom that has a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Despite being for up to four people it's quite roomy. There is a bathroom off this. Pros: lovely location close to the river, ferries and places to eat. Downstairs is quite nice and is quite well equipped. Cons: you cannot park near the cottage. The roads are very narrow so the nearest (limited) parking is 300m at the top of a steep hill. Bedroom and bathroom need some updating. Dittisham is in the middle of nowhere and at the end of some very narrow roads so if you are wanting to get about more in the area you might want to choose a more central or accessible location. However if you want a quiet, out of the way place with amazing views of the river Dart and access to the river then this is a great place for that.
