   This place was very tranquil. We enjoyed the Beauty of being in nature but with the comfort of a very well presented Shepard's hut. We used the hot tub and the fire pit so that we could stay outside as long as possible just to look at stars and listen to the wild. Our little dog loved it too.

   We stayed here on the 21st of July 2025, great communication from owner, friendly and approachable. The farm itself is absolutely beautiful, we literally couldn't fault our stay in anyway. Fabulous hut well equipped, hot tub looking onto the lake which was just so relaxing.... its private and clean, everything u could want for a quiet retreat!! Loved our stay, highly recommend!! We will definitely be back!!

   We have a fantastic overnight stay in hut 2, with the hot tub heated on arrival we were able to relax instantly in the rural resort, while waiting for local food to arrive on our doorstep. Four Acres were accommodating and made sure we had enough logs for the storm. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our engagement.

   We stayed at Four Acres Farm yesterday (05/04/23) and we had the best time. The location is breathtaking, private and having the lake right the door was beautiful. The weather wasn’t really on our side, storm Kathleen was trying her best to blow us into the lake. But the shepherds huts are so warm and Cosy with a log burner and it all adds to the experience. Outside there is a wood stove Hottub, big enough for two people and sitting in there even in the wind and watching over the lake was a real treat. Kyle is the perfect host, very communicative, send you all the info you need to know in the morning and welcomed us to come over earlier than the 3pm check in. Just wish we lived closer to take advantage of the offer. There is a lovely little mini kitchen and bathroom to the back of the hut, and it was spotless. Kyle even lit our Hottub for us so it would be ready when we arrived. We will definitely be back again and would hand on heart recommend anyone to stay.

   My husband booked this as a trip for our 1st wedding anniversary and it really was the perfect getaway. The Shepard's hut was a cosy rustic retreat with a private hot tub overlooking the lake. The wood burner heated the hut so well we wanted to take it home with us. We loved the pet friendly aspect as we could take our puppy with us who loved exploring the surroundings which were well enclosed so we could relax without worrying he would wonder of. Can't wait to visit again!

   Stayed in over 30 glamping sites in the UK and Ireland.. was rudely awoken to a team of cleaners (were like bouncers) that made lots of remarks About my GAA clothing…. Over all lovely place! People not so nice. Would strongly not recommend it if your looking for a SHORT or LONG city escape….
