   I had an absolutely wonderful time at Pizza Express Buxton. The place is fantastic: warm atmosphere, delicious food, and impeccable cleanliness. The service was excellent from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special mention goes to Chiara, the manager. She’s not only extremely competent and professional, but also such a lovely person. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back !!

   We booked a children's pizza making party and it was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Our daughter and her friends loved the experience and enjoyed eating the pizzas they had created. Great value for money. I would highly recommend.

   The food was okay, but the service completely ruined our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were met by a moody manager who seemed to resent having customers at all. The girl serving us forgot our cutlery and we had to ask for napkins several times. The manager was especially rude — eye rolls, big sighs, and at one point she ignored me twice while looking directly at me when I tried to ask for help. She repeatedly got our bill wrong, and each time we tried to clarify, she snapped back impatiently. It was awkward and really uncomfortable to deal with. The first time, it looked like she’d added random items (like a gluten-free dessert), and when she came back with a higher total, she said in a very sassy tone, “Well, if you want to pay for the full bill, that’s on you — I’m not going to stop you.” We were completely confused, as she hadn’t explained anything clearly. It turned out we were supposed to have two free kids meals. But the items of the bill were priced very inconsistently, the bill had 2 kids meals deducted from it but for £9.45 not £17. And when we asked a few more questions, she kept replying with the same impatient attitude. The whole thing was chaotic, unprofessional, and unpleasant. Everyone can have a bad day, but if you work in a customer-facing role, at least try to be polite. This was by far the worst service I’ve had in a long time — truly disappointing.

   Used to always be a good standard of pizza in pizza express. We've been going for decades. Had to take a break as there isn't one near where we live now. In Buxton so took the opportunity to eat a quick lunch here. Half feel but pizza took ages. When it arrived cold, tough, pizza flavourless - nothing like it used to be. Still good for kids. Very pricey. Maybe the likes of Rudy's have eclipsed pizza express in terms of quality over the years and our expectations were too high, but I remember pizza express being dependable quality and good value. Very expensive and not great quality, couldn't recommend this place to others.

   Great experience. Enjoyed the food more than some other pizza chains we've tried and a calmer atmosphere. Food choices were very good for adults and children. The presentation was good and the food was warm as you'd expect. Friendly, efficient staff and minimal waiting for the food; this could also be seen on larger tables in the restaurant while we were there. They also accepted Tesco vouchers, so the real cost was significantly reduced.

   Lots of food debris on the floor, used knifes found under the table and the table wasn’t cleaned properly. The waiting staff were relaxed and had can’t be bothered attitude. Food was delicious , we ordered bottle of wine, the staff was passing the glass from the bar counter which was behind us, she was not bothered to come to our table to give the wine glasses. Next to our table, one gentlemen was dining. We are not sure he is a staff or a customer. Table cleaning spray was left on his table and we as food bought from outside (Pringles). We thought he would be a member of the staff but the way he was sitting on the seat thought he would be a customer.
