We visited with friends on Christmas Eve. On our table were meat eater, vegans and one vegan gluten free. The young girl serving was brilliant. She’d had a long shift it was Christmas Eve but she smiled and couldn’t have been more personable and helpful with the app. The food was amazing. We will definitely be returning again!

Unbelievably poor experience, probably the worst I've had in 10 years. Tables dirty, clearly desperately under-staffed, probably 2hrs total wait time for starters and mains, extremely slow service, multiple requests for more drinks ignored. Food was brought out without the pizza cutters, another 15 minute wait just to get them - by then the pizzas were stone cold, regardless of that they were abysmal - see picture. I sent it back and the replacement was also very poor. Come on guys... It's a Β£20 pizza and you're serving that? With half the pizza bare? Zero stars.

Stopped off for an early bite. I was a table of one and was served really quickly. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Eating outside gives nice views of the marina.

Very friendly, attentive staff and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The pizzas were definitely some of the best we’ve had compared to other Pizza express branches in the country.

The food, and drinks were delicious. I liked the steak pizza (it's named BBQ Burnt Ends on the menu). It was very crowded when we came, luckily we still got a seat near the window (so it was warm, and shiny from the sun). Another lucky for us, kids eat free. Thank you Pizza Express... No need for reservation. Toilets for customers are available.

I was pleasantly surprised by this particular branch of Pizza Express. I’m only saying this as looking at the reviews it doesn’t score very high, but we had a good experience eating here recently. Had some tasty dough balls and calamari for starters, and everyone enjoyed their choice of pizza for mains. The still lemonade was good too and we got a good discount on our bill through Unidays. The staff were friendly and nice. It was very very busy for a Wednesday evening so definitely recommend booking a table.

I ordered a Pollo ad Astra pizza in delivery from Deliveroo and opened the sealed box to half of my pizza's toppings being completely slid off and were not present on my pizza at all. They were not melted or flipped to the other side, I checked. It was completely not present, including no sauce. So I had just half of an empty, soggy previously sauced base. This means a kitchen staff member was careless and didn't want to get in trouble and just packaged my pizza anyway. Despicable. And the crust of my pizza was mostly soggy and soft, which made it incredibly difficult to cut with my pizza cutter. I felt very upset and angry receiving this in delivery.

Total disappointment. Not only were a few things from the menu not available, but the new simplified menu looked good but the food was not up to what it used to be. I understand upping prices after covid and cutting costs at this time, but why let it affect the quality of your food? The cheesy dough balls were delicious I have to say, but the polenta chips were complete mush on the inside and burnt on the outside. The sauce on our pizza's was sweet, almost like it had been made with Ketchup, no variety of hams for the pizza's because its no longer on the menu. The bases of the pizza's were soggy and not cooked properly. I ordered the spicy sausage calzone, biggest disappointment yet, it was an empty calzone filled with red chilli and again a very sweet tomato sauce. It was horrible! All red chilli's, no sausage (barely) and a soggy dough. The carbonara spaghetti was a congealed mass of cream, the dish was white and frightening to even look at. No way was it carbonara, I Don't know what it was. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Pizza express, sort it out!!!!!

Tried the garlic balls for the first time and they were yummy. I thought I'd try something I wouldn't normally get on a pizza, so I chose the goats cheese and caramelized onion with spinach one. It was nice and I would get it again. My dad got the BBQ burnt ends (brisket) one and enjoyed it but could've had more meat on it. I did find a lot of the options were spicy. All the Staff we interacted with were very nice
