Decent price and atmosphere, but the food is extremely subpar. The pastas either use what tastes like jarred sauces or are dressed in nothing but oil. The pizzas aren't great either - tough dough and tasteless, rubbery cheese.
The food was really good we had a couple of pasta dishes. some starters, ice cream and cocktails and all of them were very flavourful and delicious. The value for the meal I also thought was very good and the food was priced fair and well. Service was delivered at a good speed even though it was reasonably busy. Service was good but attitude in general could have been a little more approachable for some servers, we sat outside but unfortunately it was to cramped we felt in everyone’s way we did ask to move over but was told we couldn’t due to already ordering, it just felt a bit chaotic.
Walked in for dinner. Busy when we arrived but emptied when the theatre opened. We found the service friendly and quick. Food was tasty, large portions and we would happily recommend it. Great value and will certainly visit again.
Great tasty pastas, the sauces are delicious. Lots seafood in Marinara, and the aubergines in Siciliana are really well cooked. Highly recommend. The Italian hot chocolate with whipped cream is also a delight! The price is very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice too. We were recommended to this place by a real Italian! The only reason I did not give five star is the service. Waited quite a very long time for the food to arrive and didn't feel like we were looked after well by the waiters. A bit of a shame. Other than that, amazing food!
Went here for my birthday dinner, amazing vibe, make sure to book or reserve a table. Once dinner is done, step outside and if you are lucky, you will hear someone doing a music piece and you can grab a drink from the pubs in front, a have a night with your girlfriends or a dance around with your boyfriend.
Me and my friend came here for lunch. There was so much to choose from, even for my friend who is vegetarian. The food was amazing, I had the spicy sausage pasta, and she had the vegetable lasagne. We're both students so were pleased with the low cost.
An amazing Italian. Food was delicious with great portion sizes and incredible taste. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Would happily go back here time and time again.
Big portions, helpful staff, and a brilliant location! We had mocktails and I loved them both! Nice and sweet, and brilliant to sit and watch the world go by. Pizza was great too! Portions were a bit too big for me, but I gave it my best! Overall I do recommend this place! Bit make sure you've got room for everything you order!
The starter was tasty. However the meat sauce on my calzone was cold/luke warm and didn't taste very pleasant. The calzone was bland. My partner said the seafood risotto was okay, however the next day he was feeling unwell and vomiting. The wine wasn't very good and the mango juice tasted diluted. It was very cheap but shows in the quality of food. We both left with bad tastes in our mouths and my partner being sick!
