   Consistently amazing food. Billy is always so welcoming and kind. We had the gnocchi gorgonzola, pollo allá Milanese and the petto di pollo al formaggio. All 3 dishes were really tasty and we can’t wait to come again

   Wowwwwwwww what can i say that hasnt been said in the reviews before mine.This is a nice little place in Boundary area of Portslade. Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. And a lovely little happy birthday to a little girl that was celebrating her birthday which all sang happy birthday to her so to sum up a lovely meal in a fantastic little fine Restautant book your tables here and experience what Billy and his staff and brilliant service will bring you good food and staff that really care with what they are putting out 10/10

   Me and my partner booked on a Saturday and there was a mix up with times. But they was so lovely and made us feel welcome and Squeezed us in. We had starter and main, our food was cooked to perfection. Drinks flowed lovely and the layout and atmosphere was just amazing. Been a while since we can say home is usually better. Made us enjoy our night off. We will definitely be going back and more regularly.

   This restaurant is quite simply head and shoulders above any. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are simply fantastic and ultra efficient. The owner, Billy makes everyone feel special and it is a complete delight dining there. Would 100% recommend to anyone that enjoys well cooked and extremely tasty food to visit.    The staff and management went over and above to make us feel welcome! We had a 16 year old birthday family meal with 8 of us. Everyone said their food was delicious ,home made fresh and lovely to look at. We felt really relaxed there . We will return!

   So pleased to have found this lovely Italian. Service was impeccable and friendly staff made the evening a real joy. Took our autistic son for his birthday and he can struggle sometimes in noisy environments. However, the waiter really connected with him and made sure he was having a good time. Highlight of the night was everyone getting a happy birthday song. My teenage son was too cool for school and said 'they are not doing that for me'. Could we get him to leave before he had his song though? Absolutely no way! Would definitely recommend for good food, great service and lovely atmosphere.

   Really enjoyed the food at Colosseo, tasted really fresh and authentic, good portion sizes and good value overall. I would definitely come back here for their pasta again and to try the gnocchi next time! Nothing glam, just yummy Italian food and good service service too.

   Last night I visited Colosseo for my third time and the experience was as fantastic as the first. This family run restaurant is not just authentic Italian food, but such a friendly place to be- reminding me of stepping into Italy! Billy the owner takes time and pride in chatting to customers to make them feel like valued friends, it felt like we were all part of the same family. The other two waiters were efficient and attentive-making us feel valued and positive. I love the menu- SO much choice! Gorgonzola Gnocchi was imaginatively served inside a homemade bread ‘boat’ and my partner’s meat balls were seasoned to perfection made with proper meaty beef, again beautifully presented! If you haven’t visited this little gem yet- do! It’s a slice of Italy in west Hove.
