Well established Italian restaurant offering a wide choice of food and drink. Comfortable seating with bench seats around the outside walls. Wood effect tables for 2 mostly set together for 4 all with individual table lights (pity about the paper napkins) they also have outdoor tables in rear of property Good overall lighting with air-conditioning. Service fair - somewhat unprofessional and inattentive. Too many staff roaming around!! Food; - Lamb shank, good but too much sauce. Vetello Limone nice thin tender good portions let down by the thin sauce. Desserts; all good Wine; the Merlot from Chile was excellent. The waiter did not offer a tasting before pouring! Wheelchair accessible entrance. Toilets available. Accepts cash and credit/debit cards

Travelled down to Brighton from up north and I have to say, this as good as (if not better than!) my favourite Italian up in Yorkshire. The outside area was lovely, service and atmosphere was nothing short of fantastic. Will definitely be back on my next trip down! This is as good as it gets.

5* food! One of the most delicious Pollo Toscana I’ve had. Bursting with flavour, perfectly cooked, the sauce, sun-dried tomatoes and the vegetables were superb. Only minor point is that when the restaurant is full of people, always a good sign, can get pretty noisy and hard to talk. Will still highly recommend for the amazing food and service.

Can't find anything to complain about this independent Italian restaurant. Food was superb and the range was excellent. You can tell when everything is freshly prepared and piping hot. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices in our opinion were very reasonable especially when you consider the quality of the food. Well worth a visit if ever in Hove.

I went with a group of teenagers, the food was fantastic, generous portion and extraordinary service. The waiters were very efficient taking the order and the service was smooth. I am planning to go with my family in the following days. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for lunch on a Sat afternoon recently and loved it. Auhentic Italian restaurant that was bustling with customers. We had the whitebait and mussels for starters, both excellent and arrived quickly. Mains equally good and my pizza was fantastic. See attached pictures. Would definitely visit again.

This is a must try restaurant. Delicious food, remarkable FAST service, friendly staff, nice and clean ambience. Also generous portions and lots of variety in the menu. We were there for family dinner with 2 kids and enjoyed it very much. Defiantly we will return. Thank you Otello Team.

A relaxed atmosphere inside. Basically if you like pasta and sauces then this is your place. There are about 20 different menu selections for pasta sauces, and you can then chose from several different types of pasta. There are other options like pizzas and more classic choices like seafood, steaks, etc. This place can get quite busy at weekends and weeknights, but was fine a little bit later on.

One of our favourite places to visit. I have been with my husband for almost 10 years and it's somewhere that we had our first date at and anniversary dinner ever since. Very close to our heart and have never had a bad service. Highly recommend.
