Jordan made our date breakfast much better by ensuring us hungry parents were full up on bottomless pancakes for the entire duration of a child free mornings. He made my husband 2 perfect cortados even though they weren’t on the menu. He was pleasant to chat to and confident when talking to us. Thanks Jordan and Bills for pancakes.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The service was impeccable throughout our visit—friendly without being overbearing, and always on hand just when you needed them. It’s clear the team takes pride in creating a relaxed yet polished dining experience. The food lived up to every expectation. Fresh, vibrant ingredients shine in every dish, from the beautifully presented starters to the generous mains. To top it all off, dessert was a true indulgence, a perfect end to the meal.
The food was nice and the service was very friendly. The decor is really nice with a nice, busy, lively atmosphere. We were waiting about 30mins for breakfast in the end. They were quite busy but did feel we were waiting a while. Otherwise a lovely meal in a lovely restaurant.
My wife and I love Bill’s and enjoyed a brilliant breakfast at the Lewes branch the morning after a wedding. Service was incredibly friendly and efficient, to the extent our food arrived before our drinks (which didn’t take long at all), but everything was still piping hot and perfectly cooked. I ordered the traditional breakfast and my wife had the halloumi, eggs & roast tomatoes. We had two delicious juices on the side, plus hot drinks. It was great value for just under £40 (including the 12.5% service charge).
Lovely, busy, bustly place. Excellent service, friendly, attentive, fast. Dog - friendly. Good food, bit pricey, slightly underwhelmed by the smoothie for £4.95, nothing special. The one thing I struggled with was the noise, because it's all on ground floor level and quite large and cramped, there's the chatting plus the ambient sound of music and kitchen.. it was hard to hear my friend, we had to raise our voices.
Lunch at Bills today a Saturday , busy as always but found us a great table for 2 , dog friendly too, Simple menu never disappoints, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff help . Didn’t have to wait too long for food and staff alway ask about allergies before orders taken . Recommend and we will be back soon .
Best steak I've ever had! Really lovely restaurant food was lovely too. my only complaint was that we was put on a tiny little table for 2 there was hardly room for our plates and drinks. Would definitely go again though.
