Delicious, with a great selection, combined with a friendly service, Vegan options too which our guest really was happy and impressed with. ....and if you are not, they also source local meat from small farms too. Let's not forget to mention succulent fresh fish.. first time to try white tuna.. I can't remember the other name it's given Sensibly priced lunch menu too, though some of us went al a carte and also very happy with our choices. Definitely will return.

We love Japanese food so we popped out of St Thomas hospital and walked along the scenic route, along the river. We attended Aji, formerly the old mc Donald. Once upon a time, a packed place. Surprisingly quiet. Food: the food was extremely well presented. Well done. On initial thoughts, it looked on the small side but after eating everything including all the soup, I was full. We had a started which came a bit later, but that was fine. Overall all, the food was brilliant. I had egg in mine. It was beautifully cooked. The starters was very nice. Either I was hungry or it was super good food. Service: it was good. Quick at the time of visit as we were early. Atmosphere: lovely looking restaurant. It would have been nicer if there was some Japanese themed music.

Took the chance and availed their unlimited sushi offer for £15! Love how the seating surrounds the preparation table so you can see the staff create and assemble your order in front of you! They had a variety of options from maki, gunkan and warm sushi rolls! The food tasted really fresh and pungent which i absolutely loved! With every bite I knew I wanted more and more! The warm sushi felt even more filling and heavy as compared to the regular sushi rolls tasted more like a hot rice bowl. However I must say it was quite unsettling to see the work tension between the staff and the waitress. Wish the person preparing the sushi spoke less passive aggressively to the waitress. Felt really bad to witness that.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE BUT.. 1) Food – do not get me wrong; it is very good, detail oriented, obviously way better than regular takeaway, but there are in town few better, less pretentious addresses, whose meals are more tasty and value for money ratio is visibly higher. 2) Customer service – good standard, professional with care, maybe too official though. 3) Interior – very "Japanese" and minimalistic with a good taste, what I really like, but very tight so not very comfortable when consuming.. 4) Price – definitely overpriced comparing to few other Japanese places in Town, which offer simply better food quality/quantity and taste for less money.

We had a good dinner at Mediterraneo : the place is quite small and we felt lucky to have a table. Dinner was good but a bit greasy. The host was really friendly and very Italian. However, from the reviews, I was expecting better. Menu was pricey for what it was.

One of my favorite upscale sushi houses in Brighton. Great selections of sashimi as well as traditional grilled Yakitori and yakiton. Great contemporary saucy fusiony rolls too. You can also order on Uber eats, but IMO its way better in-house. Might be the sauces not traveling well not sure but still really great.

My wife surprised me with a dinner out on a Monday evening and had booked a table for us at Aji Sushi. It was somewhere I had always passed and wanted to try but had never got round to it. I was a little unsure when we arrived as there was only one other table of people eating, although it is small inside. My doubts were very quickly dismissed though as the sushi was spectacular!!! We had a wide array of different roles from spicy tuna to mother of dragon. Every single one was incredible. We had a glass of wine each, some edimame to start and then so much beautiful sushi. It was all made completely fresh to order and was presented very well (see my photos). I would highly, highly recommend anyone who likes sushi to try here and best of all it was not to expensive. Really worth a visit!

By far the best Sushi in Brighton and Hove! Would highly recommend. The Aji Poke bowl is the perfect light lunch full of tasty, fresh ingredients. Or if you fancy sushi try the Rock' n roll or One The Drive duo - both incredible! Grab a seat in the window and people watch or sit on the pass to watch the chefs in action. I'll be back soon! :)
