The restaurant I always take people to when they’re visiting Brighton! Staff are always very friendly and food comes quick. Never had a bad meal and for such a reasonable price, it’s one of my favourite places to eat in Brighton!

Absolutely amazing. Food was fresh, hot and crispy. Tasted beautiful. Staff were delightful and friendly and really enjoyed the time there. The place is clean and cozy. We sat downstairs but there is seating upstairs and outside. We already want to go back.

We decided to try this restaurant while walking by and god I am so glad we did. Food is so good you would smile while eating and go awwww. Everything was delicious and heart warming. Will definitely come here again when I'm next in Brighton.

Small but tidy place to eat-in. Low price for all the dishes but super delicious. All the Beto rice that we ordered are outstanding. We are Asian and we can tell you that Pompoko is the place that you must to visit in Brighton if you love Japanese food especially the Beto. Can fill up your tummy easily. Thank you all the nice staffs!

Cash only!! Highly recommend place for Asian food in Brighton. Went there triple times already. Good value of money with good quality and sufficient portion of food. Staffs are nice. Curry is one of my favourite. Deep fried is good as well. Even though some of the ingredients are not really common as I had in Japan, but the taste are really good here.

Pompoko is the kind of place you pop into if you want tasty authentic Japanese dishes. it seems small from the outside, but they have seating upstairs. they also get quite busy, but the staff maintain a friendly face and cheerful demeanour. the food is tasty, hearty and well priced and I found the pork cutlet I ate to be tender on the inside, and crispy on the outside.... ARMADILLO! That's what the missus said when I described what I was eating. I've been here a few times, and its definitely one of my go to spots in Brighton. Go here for well cooked, well priced hot food especially if you want a quick lunch. The crispy tofu things were quite a surprise too. who knew Tofu could taste like that!

Really cute place, not usually a fan of places with photos on the menu but in this instance it really helped. Portion size was good…. Curry sauce for me could have had a little more flavour but the prawn rice bowl was very nice. Spring rolls looked homemade but were stingy on the filling. For the price very good. Will go back

Great value for the meal. Place has a ton of reviews so I was pretty excited. The food wasn’t bad and was very nicely priced—but it was ok. Try the ribs! Definitely don’t get your hopes too high. The restaurant is kind of small
