Wonderful, warm, and cozy atmosphere as well as incredibly tasty food. Good vegan/vegetarian options too. Char grilled sweet potato and spicy cucumber was to die for ‼️

I think this might just be the best restaurant in Brighton & Hove. Informal dining at its best. Every single thing on the menu is made with care and precision. Super fresh. Super tasty. Staff are brilliant. The whole feel of the place is superb. Fantastic value for money. They’ve got this down to a tee. Will be back time and time again

One of the best names I've had in months (maybe years). Every single dish was delicious, the service was excellent (friendly and helpful), the sake range was incredible, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. They also had a vegan menu for my partner, which had some great options.

First time here for me and i wasn't disappointed. The food we had was all freshly prepared and is served tapas style, as and when each dish is ready. Good menu choice, reasonably priced. Good alcohol choice also. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Don't forget to book as it's a small restaurant and it's busy.. Would I go again ? Yes ! Enjoy as we did.

Legitimately one of the best Japanese meals I've ever had. Beautiful, succulent meats, with fabulous garlic rice. Just exceptional. If you're going solo, there's a good chance you can do a walk-in!

Our first Japanese dining experience, and one we'd love to repeat! Get the ribs, if they're on the specials menu - so tender and tasty! Honourable mention for the pork belly skewers, but everything was good. Including the Japanese beer. Tables were a bit close together - oh well.

Our table was waited on by Elena, Elena absolutely added to our enjoyment of our evening, when your preferences are listened to, and you receive appropriate suggestions that prove to be excellent suggestions when the courses arrive, coupled with a delicious wine, also suggested. The pace was perfect, we ordered 2 dishes at a time, every plate is a small plate, we finished on 10 plates, we didn’t order any rice or carbs. We left full and totally satisfied. There was no presumptive service charge leaving it to our discretion. A perfect dining experience with probably the best server I can remember ever being served by. P.S. THE CHICKEN SKIN SKEWER ❤️

A comfortable small bar setting with a quite authentic dining experience. My personal favorites are chicken hearts, grilled squid and grilled rice ball. Reservation is not required but recommended on weekends.
