   After lovely evening with family we wanted to have nice meal, kids choose pizza so we wandered into Pizza Express, place was half empty. Stood around 15 min to get any attention from staff members. After 15 min lady came to us and gave us table with 4 seats, we where 5 people. After asking if we can swap tables as we are more than 4 people she started to give nasty attitude and was very rude. After that we choose to go away. Very horrible attitude and spoiled evening. Not gonna recommend this place to anyone.

   Do not recommend. To begin with, it took a considerable amount of time for us to be seated upon arrival, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, not particularly busy and us having had booked a table. Once seated, we waited approximately 20 minutes before anyone approached our table to ask if we would like drinks. In the end, we had to actively ask a member of staff if we could place an order, which added a further 10 minute delay. One particular concern was the complete lack of attention paid to food allergies. One member of our table has a severe shellfish allergy, which carries a serious risk of anaphylaxis. No staff member asked about allergies at any point, and we had to proactively raise this ourselves. When we did, there was no acknowledgement or reassurance from staff, which was extremely worrying and unacceptable from a food safety perspective. Our food was barely warm. After finishing our meal, our plates were left on the table for approximately 30 minutes before being cleared, despite staff passing by regularly and looking over our table. We then had to ask for the bill, which again took around 20 minutes to arrive. This significantly extended our visit when we explained that we had to leave as soon as possible. Throughout the experience, the staff were abrupt, unwelcoming, and lacked basic attentiveness. Given that the restaurant was not busy, there was no obvious reason for these delays or the poor level of service. Overall, this visit was disappointing and concerning, particularly regarding allergy awareness and customer care.

   came here for lunch with my family and had a great time! the prawn pizza was truly the best pizza i'd had in a while, i hope it becomes a permanent menu item. was served by harvey and they were excellent! so funny and kind, and beyond accommodating. even though front of house were low-staffed, it did not feel like it with their speedy service. gorg work, will be popping back in

   I order from here anytime I want a treat, I have coeliac disease so its a bit tricky eating out, however they always label everything clearly, inside and takeaway. I order the same thing everytime, I'm picky and each time I eat here its been amazing, they taste exactly like normal pizzas and dough balls. I've never had a bad experience here, never a risk of cross contamination or even a bad experience with staff. It's nice to know that there's atleast 1 place in telford where I can have a treat and not worry about eating gluten.

   As soon as we arrived at pizza express there was a lack of front of house, meaning myself, partner and two younger children were left to wait in a queue as there was nobody there to greet us. The queue continued to grow and it Took a good while before being seen to. After sitting at the table, we were left 15 minutes, I got up to speak to a staff member and told her that it had been explained to us that there was an approximate wait of up to 45 minutes for food, however we had been sat for 15 minutes and nobody had been to take a drinks order- I was told to ‘bare with her a minute’ despite already waiting 15 minutes. This particular member of staff didn’t return to us. Another lady (with blue/green hair- didn’t catch her name, sorry) came to us and took our order. (She saved the evening) after ordering, we did. Have quite a wait, which was explained to us- disappointed with our food, we both ordered pasta dishes and a side of garlic bread. As you can see from the pictures, food was burnt, pasta was chewy from being over cooked and the garlic bread was also very burnt. Such a shame after waiting such a long time. The lady that served us, as previously mentioned, saved the evening for us- such a shame tonight as we were out celebrating my partners daughters 6th birthday.

   was great - pricey as usual. paid 3.45 for 330ml of diet coke. the pizza was great though and came quickly but expected more toppings for the price as i had a lot of bites with pure cheese and tomato. Great staff however and lovely atmosphere

   I usually love Pizza Express, last night we went for a meal out at the Telford branch and we were really disappointed. We ordered our starters and after half an hour of waiting we were told they were out of stock. I ordered something else, and when the food showed up they bought my original choice over anyway, there was an item short on the plate. We waited another half an hour when our waitress told us the main I ordered was out of stock. You could tell my partners food has been left under the heat for a while, the chips came burnt. As we were getting ready to pay when the table next to us complained they had been waiting an hour for food, at this point the waiting staff were ordering their own food from the chefs. There was one member of staff who was seating people at tables, then he was behind the cooking counter, and then he’d walk through the restaurant back and forth with his jacket on. People were still waiting for their food while waiters were stood preparing pizza boxes- not one delivery man walked in so unsure why this was a priority while people were waiting over an hour. Overall it was just very strange, usually the customer service is spot on at pizza express. We weren’t offered a discount for our long wait or two miscommunications. Won’t be going back to this store. Very badly run.

   Fantastic food and I am not the easiest customer vegetarian and gluten free ( coeliac disease) but had one of the best meals possible. GF pasta gorgeous pesto sauce, veg. The manager Peter could not have been kinder or more helpful and efficient. Lovely staff , great wine, great night, thank you !

   Lower scaled priced branch. Service was slow. It took 2 minutes to be greeted at the entrance. Tables were not cleared of starters before mains were delivered. Food was good as ever. Toilets had some mold on the ceiling so could use some attention. Generally an average experience and I would consider visiting again.
