Gorgeous experience. So much creativity, love, and skill went into every dish. There were combinations I’ve never tried, but want to eat again. Really special.

Having a visit on 31 October 2024 for 14-Courses October Menu and a glass of red wine. The food is absolutely tasty containing the variety of umami flavors and techniques inspired from chefs’ experiences and takeaways. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a good vibe and staff is really kind. You won’t be disappointed by this great restaurant.
An absolutely stunning experience and ranks as one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Superb food, superb service and great ambiance! Everything, every detail, was perfect. Every course was more intriguing, interesting and unique than the one before, with balanced flavours and a good range of wines, cocktails and low alcohol beverages too. We will absolutely be back for more!
Booked for a special night expecting it to be good from the reviews i had read. It was better than good. Service was top-notch. Drinks pairings were excellent, and clearly had thought. Food was fantastic. Every dish seemed better than the previous. And the first course was great.
We ate at Cellar, downstairs of The Set. This restaurant feels like a secret, kind of like a speak easy. It's not signposted, you have to go through a restaurant, out into the garden and down into the cellar. Once there you're there you'll be well looked after by chef Paul. Cooking up simple yet delicious food. Mixing your drinks for you and providing all in a relaxed atmosphere l, usually playing some 90s hip hop.
Five stars, an incredible experience which can't be overstated. You will be looked after by a brilliant team who will guide you through a journey of discovery... The menu cannot prepare you for the courses that will arrive at your table, accompanied by a carefully selected flight of drinks to perfectly compliment the sensations that will blow you away. A couple of pictures attached to give some idea of what you can expect, but not too much to spoil the surprises ahead.
Simply stunning, had the set tasting menu which was 15 courses.... Inventive, interesting and support tasty. Staff are brilliant, service friendly and welcoming, value very high. Go, this place is a hidden gem!
The lamb roast was amazing. If anything just a little too filling! Beautifully presented. The waiter, Ozzie guy, was exceptionally engaging and a credit to the kind of restaurant you are. I'd recommend it to any of our friends who come down from London for a very special meal in a wonderfully well presented dining room... And maybe to stay in the hotel too!
