Tuckers is awesome. You get you food you want, you like. Great place and so reliable. Unlike most places in Brighton I’ve never been disappointed here. Local and a pillar.
Order food at 6pm didn’t come till 7:30pm we ordered to jacket potatoes and to kebabs, one of the kebabs asked for no tomatoes but came with tomatoes (I’m allergic to tomato) the meat was stone cold like it just came out the fridge, one of the jacket potato we asked for tuna and cheese, tuna was really run down look like cat sick, cheese was in the potato, and that was freezing, called them up again and asked for a refund or money off or to send new food, new food came half hour later which they told us, and that was warm ish but still not boiling/ hot. Never had a problem before when ordering Worst take away place Don’t recommend ordering from there
First time trying as a takeaway and found the person who answered the phone very polite and delivered to me at home Food was surprisingly good a double cheeseburger and Donner meat and chips in a box with a can of fizzy drink well worth the money
The owner is very genuine, and turns out was Born on same-day as me! Very satisfied. Would highly recommend blue cheese sauce burger and garlic mayo. Yummy
I like the owner, he is friendly and reminds me of family. I ordered the Kebab and Chips box, I enjoyed it, the lamb doner was soft, juicy. The chips had a crunch to them which I appreciated. He asked me what sauces did I want, he gave me exactly how I wanted. The food came quickly
The food here has definitely improved! Bravo to the current chef!! I never used to eat here based on reviews from the locals. I live in walking distance and would (based on recent visit) use them again - it's just a shame that that that the place is not inviting at all! This venue would definitely benefit from a makeover - you would benefit in the long run, rather than just relying on the regulars returning!
Don't like to give negative reviews but this place is definitely not somewhere to aim for if you can help it. Ultimately it's the only place open in the area for late night food so when you're drunk and hungry it'll fill a spot but the quality is poor and the service is worse
The price of the 9-inch pizza is reasonable. The quality of the pizza is excellent. For the money, the value is good.
Had a twisty few days in Brighton for me son at hospital! He was craving a kebab and I'm surprised the literal closest to the royal Alex. My sons telling me what to put lol "perfect chicken Tender and Juicy in the middle with a noice crispy edge" it looked good I had one large chicken shish too lol it was the perfect end to an otherwise rubbish day! Go there we recommend!! Tucker will look after ya! Probably got one of the largest menus I've seen for a late open take away!
Was recommended to me by friends, would highly recommend it myself. Used for eat-in, takeaway and delivery. Now my local go to place for delivery. Half the price of most places, and the winner for me is its hot when delivered. Even called me once to apologise for over charging, was only £1.45 but that says a great deal. Great burgers and pizzas. Even their delivery guys are friendly.
