V good experience as a vegan. Lots of clarity and lots of options. Their curry sauce is a bit weak the couple times I've had it but everything else has been rly good. Their salt and chilli chips are some of the best chips I've ever had.
Obviously I have had countless takeaway Chinese meals in my life, and my daughter has introduced me to some "high end" Chinese food from Hove on a couple of occasions, but after several years of not using Tasty, we one day this month (Oct '25) ordered some food from here just because we were in a hurry. The food we ate that evening was just about the most interesting and excellent Chinese takeaway food I think I have ever eaten. Unlike the usual expected, it was so different, with varied flavours that I haven't tasted before, all fragrant and light, and just new and interesting. I understand that the authenticity is always off in UK takeaway food, but authenticity aside, this is the loveliest "Chinese" food I think I ever had. From now, this is the place, irrespective of cost or convenience. Chicken with satay, salt and chilli chicken, and most exceptional - Mongolian roast pork !!! Oh my goodness. The best Chinese Takeaway I ever had.
new to brighton, and thank god this was the first chinese i tried, as getting a bad chinese is painful!! everything we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. and free prawn crackers which is always the sign of a good takeaway. love
Have just come in to place an order and I have Coeliac disease and the woman was very helpful went through the menu with me to tell me what could be done gluten free she even brought the sauces out so I could check the ingredients myself. And the food is lovey would 100% recommend.
Very nice place, comfy seating area and the guy who served us was incredibly welcoming and kind. Me and my partner went there for dinner, we usually get a fair amount and other places it usually comes to £45-£50 but here it only come to £30, food came fairly quick but not too quick so could tell it had been cold fresh for our order not just grabbed from a tray, once we had taken it home and got it out the smell was amazing it so was the look of the food, this was definitely one of the best Chinese I've ever eaten and definitely the best I think I'll ever have for the price range.
Ordered here for the first time. Got to say I’m impressed! We ordered: Hors d'oeuvres Salt and chilli chips Crispy chilli beef Plain chow mien Lemon chicken Rice This fed 4 people comfortably, and arrived in 40 minutes. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

We visited for lunch as we were in Brighton for a conference. The igloo experience is really cute and the weather was good which helped. The service was slow and we were waiting to be served for some time. It wasn't busy but we had limited time for lunch. The server missed my colleagues order so when our food came, she had to wait a further 10 minutes. I ordered the chicken ceasar salad. Which was very disappointing. The chicken was all skin and grissle I would not give it to my cat. There were small peices of radish and avocado, presentation was poor. I ended up leaving most of it, which was embarrassing for our hosts. The garlic bread was not restaurant standard and could have been purchased from the local convenience store earlier that day.
