   I took my partner to The Flint House for her birthday and we had an amazing evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was incredible, and the service was exceptional. Alicia looked after us throughout the night and was brilliant — really friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list. Her recommendations were spot on and helped make the evening feel even more special. Highly recommend The Flint House for any occasion. We’ll definitely be returning!

   This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away from the main town centre. The décor blends industrial with classy, offering a spacious upstairs seating area and a terrace for summer dining. Run by the Gingerman group (I remember visiting the Ginger Pig back in 2012), it was just as good. The food was of a consistently good standard, both in quality and presentation. Service was warm, friendly, and efficient. The ambience was relaxed, yet dishes arrived promptly without feeling rushed. With its choice of à la carte small plates or full set menus (with or without wine pairings), I can see this place becoming very popular. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here and would happily return—and recommend it to others.

   The Flint House is an absolute gem — the first restaurant I’ve been to in a long time where every single box is ticked with full marks. The service is faultless: friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. The drinks list is superb, with thoughtful cocktails and an excellent wine selection. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour (highly recommended Sunday lunch). And the ambience? Stylish, relaxed, and effortlessly cool. A 10/10 across the board — highly recommended.

   This is a nice restaurant experience, with great service and an interesting menu. We opted for the chefs menu, with wine flight, given it included several of the dishes we were interested in. We sat at the pass to appreciate the experience. The food was good, technically well done with some considered flavours. The portions were probably a little bigger than we required, but the ingredients were of a high standard and the finished product a pleasing result. The setting was nice but not as intimate as other restaurants we have tried. In summary, a nice experience but not necessarily one to repeat.

   Located in Brighton, the Flint House is a modern take on English food. The service was excellent. The space is very intimate. I enjoyed the entirety of the courses, my least favourite was the mackerel. It was prepared well, it's just isn't my favorite fish. When they pair the food, they really do intend on you to going between each dish of the courses..

   It was a great experience, the man looking after us was pleasant and courteous. Easy to talk to, explaining things well and just genuinely a lovely human being, a tall young man with blond hair who spent his childhood in France. The food was tasty and well presented, however some of the dishes didn't blow our 'palette', they felt a bit simple and for the paid price I would have liked a bit more exquisite way of drawing out the taste from ingredients. Some dishes were disproportionately small even for a small plate restaurant, e.g. one croquet per person. However I would return to the restaurant for the pleasant ambience, nice and at the right level music and friendly chat with the staff and some dishes such as dressed courgettes.

   Outstanding dining experience! The Flint House was amazing from excellent customer care to mouthwatering food. This place is ideal if you wish to experience elevated modern cuisine without unnecessary fuss. We chose to go with the chefs menu that gave us a sample of the entire menu, lots of different dishes and very filling, really enjoyed the variety serving both vegetarian dishes and non each great in their own way. Can not wait to visit again.

   From beginning to end, we were treated with such care and attention! The staff were very friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about this place and rightly so! We had the 5 course chef's menu with wine pairings. Every plate that came was delicious with interesting flavour combinations to which the wine matched perfectly. We had such a lovely evening. It was a fabulous start to our holiday in Brighton. Thank you!

   Absolutely blown away by this place. The quality and flavour combinations of the various plates are incredible. Raw tuna and fried Jerusalem artichokes are a must-try. And to top it off, service was impeccable. I will definitely be coming back!
