   This is the has to be the worst fish and chip shop ever. The batter was absolutely soaked in stale tasting oil and extremely greasy. Whilst waiting for to be cooked you start to see how grubby the shop is. Kids playing in the food prep area. Piles of kids junk and dirty bikes stacked up in the waiting area. All the counters look like they needed a good wash down. Whole place needs a deep clean and the oil needs changing! Overall I'd just avoid this place as Shoreham has better fish and chips.

   Went here in July 2017 after it being recommended by my dad. Seemed ok when it first arrived but we layer found out it was absolutely soaked in grease, really sickly and difficult to eat. A lot of us felt very ill afterwards.

   After ordering and paying I noticed how filthy this place is. I asked the chap behind the counter what his hygiene rating was and he said '4'. I doubt that highly. Everything we ordered except the fish was reheated/recooked. When we got the food home the chips were barely edible, the sausages greasy, the saveloy luke warm at best. Avoid like the plague. Tried phoning back but no answer. Needs a swift visit from health and safety.

   Just bought from this place. The Pukka pies were dated beginning of march. That's two months old. Also Children were behind the fryer kitchen watching tv and eating. I'd avoid. Ridiculous. Bet they'd get shut down if health and safety showed up.

   this is now a chinese takeaway, its called yellow river now. excellent food and reasonable time to bring the food.very pretty girl serving and friendly..only down side is payment is cash only,no plastic... but not realy an issue...i will be going back again :)
