We booked this for our 23nd anniversary dinner and when we arrived, they had given us a lovely table with an anniversary banner on the wall. Such a nice touch. I had a Negroni to start and it was perfectly made. We ordered a carafe of Montepulciano, which was lovely and light. We shared a plate of the most tender calamari, then shared a seafood linguine, which they thoughtfully plated on 2 plates. It was packed full of mussels, squid and prawns with a delicious tomato sauce. This was followed by a shared plate of veal saltimboca with the most amazing fried potatoes. They very kindly offered us digestifs on the house and we had a couple of amaro. Really reasonable prices and fantastic service. You really should come here!

Had some amazing food at Casalingo. The garlic bread was so delicious. 4 of us had the seafood linguine which was superb. The others had lasagne, gnocchi and gluten free pasta steak and zucchini pasta. They gave my Dad a lovely birthday tiramisu which was a lovely touch. It was a quiet night which was surprising for a Friday. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

We booked a table for 18:30 on a Saturday. We were seated near the back, it was a cosy not too dimly lit venue. The menu is not overwhelming and has classic Italian dishes you would expect to see. We chose bruschetta and warm bread and olives for starters. Linguine Pescatore £21 Mussels, Clams, Prawns & King prawn, Calamari, chili, garlic & touch of tomato for him and Linguine nero/seppia al granchio £21 Black linguine with crab, chili & garlic for me. The food was fantastic! I would 100% come back! Wine was £35 a bottle - not obscene at all for a restaurant in Brighton

I am not an Italian, but I can tell you that The food is gorgeous, I can’t believe how delicious it is. Two pasta dishes are amazing. The Seafood linguine tastes full of seafood, prawn flavour, the linguine cooked in the right condition that I like, not overcooked like I had at last two restaurants. Those starts are also very tasty. The price is reasonable, I can’t say it’s cheap, nowhere is cheap anymore, but I can say it’s delicious and worthy.

We were in the mood for pasta, gave it a try and have zero regrets! The starters were really innovative and tasted amazing. The mains were more traditional but super satisfying. Great wine too.

They kindly let us use a table outside the front and the place was fully booked. It was fine as the weather was great. Even a passerby said it was a cute spot. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the staff welcoming. I recommend!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. My mussel appetizer was delicious. Get some bread and butter to dip in the sauce! The veal was very flavorful but just a little tough. Prices were reasonable. A very enjoyable meal.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Our waiter was so lovely and was very helpful and knowledgable about the menu. Very fresh food. Very busy but didn't feel at all crowded. All the staff were very pleasant. Would 100% go back again.
