Sadly this restaurant was a bit of a let down, staff were all friendly but the food served was cold and pretty bland. We complained and they re-made the meals but served them lukewarm again. They did offer a partial refund and also another meal for our 2 year old daughter to take away so did their best to rectify the situation. However I still paid full price for two adult meals that we left a lot of and only ate what we did because we were hungry.

I love this place, I've been coming here many years, I love the spaghetti bolognaise, very authentic and delicious and affordable with a glass of fresh orange juice from their juicer machine, and the atmosphere is relaxing, the manager is a great guy, always welcoming. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to get some lunch or dinner. Ciao!

I had a really lovely experience at Italian Kitchen in Brighton! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit feel extra special. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care – everything from the starters to the mains tasted amazing. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for the quality you get, which makes it a great value spot. If I had to point out one thing, the atmosphere wasn’t quite as charming as the food and service – it just lacked a little warmth compared to other Italian places I’ve been to. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We recently dined at your establishment and paid £55.75 for what turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience. I feel compelled to express how unacceptable the quality of the food was: The fish was not fresh, which raises serious concerns about food safety and storage The smoothies were bitter and undrinkable The strawberry milkshake was extremely watery and tasted nothing like a proper milkshake The halloumi salad was completely flavourless, showing no effort in seasoning or presentation This is not a matter of personal taste — it’s a clear lack of basic food quality and preparation. For the amount charged, the standards should be far higher. I expect this feedback to be taken seriously, as the current state of the food being served is unacceptable. This place a joke! We will not be returning and will be sharing our experience publicly so others are aware.

We came here for lunch just before 12PM. The man who greeted us into the restaurant didn’t crack a smile at all, or seem at all bothered to be working there. We ordered the fish and chips, I must say the fish was very nice and succulent and the French fries were a nice touch. We both got 2 smoothies, these I thought were eye watering for the price.. £4.95 pretty much £5.00 a drink. However, they were nice and fresh. I would say the service for drinks and food were very quick. However, I had to search high and low for salt.. I found some under where the sauces are placed. There is also a lack of gluten free options on the menu, in 2024 this is fairly shocking. Overall, the food and drinks were good. However, I’d get a more enthusiastic and customer natured person to the front of house. As this mans approach doesn’t make you feel welcome at all. The prices are fairly high, wouldn’t come here again unless it was a last option.

My son came over to Brighton with his friends on Saturday 14th January to spend his Xmas money him and his friends chose to have lunch here and the food was appalling over priced under cooked and looked like a toddler had thrown it together obviously them being teenagers they didn't feel comfortable making a complaint but my son told me and showed me the state of his pizza and I thought it was a joke. He also said his friends burger was so dry he couldnt eat it!?

Seems, as other places, increased cost and overheads is met with low quality food, just had breakfast, and have had breakfast for half the price that has been better. Some items of food were cold.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, slightly expensive. 11 pounds for a salad is too much.
