Lovely, secluded pub with spectacular river views. Plenty of outdoor seating. Very cosy inside and can imagine it being beautiful in winter months, but dont fancy the drive to it in the dark. It's bad enough in the daylight. That said, food was lovely, quite reasonably priced for where it is and good portion size. Will definitely visit again.

What a wonderful location but the food is very poor and basic, I had to have sausage, egg and chips as the had run out of ham, the eggs were over cooked and greasy so just had the yolks, the sausage was deep fried and overcooked my son had the prawn baguette which was supposed to have mayo not Marie rose sauce, the staff were lovely and friendly, just filter coffee and I made a mistake and didn't get a decaf for my son they gladly replaced it no problem, would I visit again no I'm sorry to say due to the basic food

Visisted here for the first time this evening with my partner and 3 friends and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. The menu is quite small but when the meals arrived they looked fantastic! The onion rings were amazing, home made but not too greasy and fried in a lovely batter. The chips and mushrooms were also really good! One friend had the chicken and stuffing pie from the specials board which he was very impressed with. Another one of my friends ordered the banoffee cheesecake and WOW that looked incredible. It was home made and he said you could really tell, he said it was one of the best cheesecakes he's ever had. The rest of us were all drooling over it wishing we had ordered one! Definetly must try the cheesecake next time. Service was quite slow but the food was worth the wait. The older guy working behind the bar was really nice to talk to, despite being new to visiting this pub and not one of the regulars, he was friendly and happy to engage in conversation, making jokes and being really warm which was lovely. It was a shame so many wasps and flies kept coming in (4 wasps in total just in the time we were there) which I can only assume might be because the doors are left wid open. Not really a criticism of the staff as I understand in summer it gets warm but maybe some fly/wap nets would be a good investment for hygiene but mostly comfort of customers. Really lovely setting overlooking the water. Hope to return again in the future.

Loved this pub. Right on the river what a magnificent setting. The Sunday lunch was tasty and big, no corners cut. So relaxing watching the boats go by and our dog enjoyed it too paddling in the overspill from the river Highly recommended

A party of 4, we hadn't booked in advance. Had we known just how popular this pub is we would have done. However, we were seated in a corner which, while a bit cramped, was okay. The food was good, as were the portions; none of us actually cleared our plates. A nice cheerful atmosphere too. I had the Yorkshire pudding filled with stewed steak and it was delicious. Unpretentious food simply served. Highly recommended, but book in advance for a decent table.

Travelled here to sample the food and enjoy sitting by the broads. The ferry house is very much a traditional pub. I had a steak and ale Yorkshire pudding with vegetables. It was bigger than I expected and very tasty. The view of boats and river was just lovely to enjoy the food and even a nice filter coffee. Staff were very friendly. There were plenty of outside seating and also inside. It was fairly quiet when I visited. I will certainly return

A delightful old local pub by the river, it was a lovely day so we had our lunch outside, very generous portions and despite it being very busy food was only about 20minutes, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely landlady we spoke too was telling us she's been there 15 years, a very pleasant lunch
