Didnt stay in the hotel so cannot comment. The boat parking could be improved. Nowhere to tie the boat up just outside the pub and the free moorings were so full of fishermen we couldn't use them. Lunch deal was very good value and tasty. Service very slow.

I love locally and always enjoy coming here, especially for family get togethers. We had the Festive menu tonight which was very reasonably priced and delicious. I had the camembert, which was a fraction overcooked but still delicious. A few people had chicken tenders which looked amazing (see my Sister in law's picture attached). Steak was cooked perfectly, and cheesecake was lovely too. The staff here are always very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a perfect evening. I look forward to coming back soon.

Refurbished in the last year and what a difference. Looks so much better. Good table locations and having stayed there now the rooms are alot cleaner and significantly cheaper than Hotel Wroxham and the decor much more modern. Christmas menu food portions are huge and Turkey Ham Hock pie was delicious. Breakfast choices are good too. Suggest booking at weekends for restaurant tables in peak season. Great big outdoor space looking over the river which is fabulous in summer. Staff are really friendly. Katie our server was very attentive and really friendly.

I visited the Kings Head today with a group of friends for the Turkey and Tinsel set menu at £14.99 which we had pre-booked. We received a very warm welcome, firstly from the bar staff who took our order for drinks and then from the lovely young lady who showed us to our table. The whole meal was excellent, it was hot and we had plenty on our plates. Special mention for the dessert a Triple Chocolate Brownie served with ice cream and sauce which was amazing. We had Christmas Crackers on the table and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I highly recommend a visit. It’s a big thumbs up from the six of us who went home happy and full ☺️.

I recently visited this Greene King restaurant and had a genuinely fantastic experience from start to finish; I am currently regarding it as one of the best Greene Kings I have ever visited! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and seated promptly — a great first impression that set the tone for the rest of our visit. The food (mixed grill, pulled pork burger, cookie dough and sticky toffee pudding) was excellent — fresh, well-cooked and full of flavour and everything arrived hot and beautifully presented. You can really tell that care is taken with both the ingredients and the preparation. The portion sizes were generous too, offering great value for money. Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, checking in at just the right moments and happy to accommodate any special requests. Their friendly attitude and efficiency really added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness was spot on throughout the entire venue. Tables were promptly cleared and sanitised, the floors were spotless and the bathrooms were well-maintained — something that’s often overlooked but definitely appreciated. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Between the great food, excellent service and clean, comfortable setting, Greene King (King’s Head) really delivered. Thank you!

Had a lovely meal, served by a great team. The one who stood out most was Lydia, always smiling, with infectious enthusiasm. Myself and my partner have eaten here before and will gladly do so again.

We stayed two nights whilst visiting Norfolk. Friendly accommodating staff, especially Damien the assistant manager on duty who could not have been nicer or more helpful. Breakfast and had dinner one evening very nice. Only issue was lighting in the room was very dim. Would happily stay here again.

Not too sure what went wrong but the vegetables were hard (brockerly and carrots hard / not cooked) I had Lamb Shank nice, friend had beef very hard to cut and dry around edge. Will NOT return for another meal. Meal last year was good, must have new chef.

Firstly, the exterior of this pub needs some TLC. The paintwork on the windows and just the general feel is tired. But inside its fairly well kept! The team clearly make the most of what they have. Service Overall our service was smooth and friendly, no real issues with how quickly the food and drink came. Food So I am being quite harsh here but there were a couple of issues. Firstly if you take the beef burger and add pulled pork and bacon you get the BBQ burger but its 50p cheaper, nobody could tell me what I paid the extra 50p for! It's minor but needs addressing! The calories added up so there couldn't have been anything extra added. Then the mixed grill, we didn't get any eggs or pineapple... only after we finished and had the menus again for the desserts did we notice. Finally, there was no chocolate sauce for the ice cream, there was a suggestion of caramel however we said that we would not like this and would prefer no sauce... when the ice cream arrived it was covered in caramel sauce. Dessert ruined. Other than these points the food was actually very good if a bit standard in quality, end of the day its fairly cheap and the food lives up to expectations. So, not a terrible meal but there could have been some improvements
