   Me, my wife and her friend thoroughly enjoyed the food, they also had a desert which they said was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was a tad high but still very good food and service (the vegan burger could have done with a slice of vegan cheese but only a nitpick). The food didn't take long to come out and if we find ourselves nearby we'll definitely visit again.

   Decent pub food. Good portions. Lots of meat! Reasonable value. Quick, friendly service. The decor was a bit dated, and there was a very large rowdy group in, which meant the atmosphere didn't suit us perfectly (but it might be exactly what you are looking for!). We chatted to a local couple who said it's the best pub in town and usually has a really friendly, family atmosphere.

   Terrible food even though we had very attentive staff. Went here with my family on a Sunday. £18 for a Sunday roast. The broccoli had been shown the pan whereas the cauliflower was like baby mush. The food was a long wait even though we were only one of three tables. Very dry and lacking of gravy which was very thin and watery. Had high expectations due to the price point and was very dissatisfied. We also had fish and chips and the chips were very undercooked. The staff were very enthusiastic and gained the review its two stars. Unfortunately won’t be eating here again.

   We have recently enjoyed two themed nights ( Tapas and Curry nights) which were excellent for food and fun with friends. Today we enjoyed a fabulous Sunday dinner enjoying the sunshine. The food was again excellent- we had roast beef and a delicious sausage and onion pie! The starters were fab too. To boot, Tom Tonks was playing music. The staff served us drinks at our table and were very attentive. All round brilliant.

   I had a fantastic mother's day meal at the White Horse today with dear friends and my two teenage children. We were greeted by the new landlord with complimentary prosecco and a truffle style chocolate for the mum's that were dining. We all had a fantastic 2 course meal. There was a wide range to choose from and the pricing was incredibly reasonable with two courses for approx £25 3 of our diners chose the roasts, my son had venison and I had the sea bass and saffron prawns. My overall favourite was the starter, it was simple, delicious and cooked to perfection. I've attached a photo We then sampled their new cocktail menu, the teens had the mocktails and I had a sex on the beach and an espresso martini for dessert. It was such a nice treat to have a glass full of cocktail as opposed to a glass half filled with ice (which seems to be the norm nowadays) All the staff were really friendly and attentive, it really did feel like a special treat in a relaxed atmosphere! Thanks everyone! Looking forward to eating with you again soon

   Love this pub. Staff are so friendly and love dogs. Both myself and hubby say its the tastiest Sunday lunch we've had. Will definitely return when next visiting Chedgrave.

   Was a "nice" Sunday roast meal, portions could have been a little bigger and there wasn't much in the way of variety of vegetables on the serving. Also seemed to take a long time to get our order taken but we put that down to a busy pub. Admitted that we were one of the last tables in, but it felt like we were given, " what was left" rather than a full Sunday roast. At one point, whilst awaiting for Dessert, one of the older lady members of staff just plonked a pile of spoons and napkins on the table and left with a " share those about will you?" Here I was thinking I was the customer. It's a very nice pub, landlord was very friendly but I think a bit of staff training in customer service and also a look at portion sizes wouldn't go amiss.
