Eat here with family for the first time yesterday. We'll definitely be back. The starters were delicious and came in big portions, the mains and desserts were FAB-U-LOUS. Who could ask for more!
Staff are very friendly here, nice clean pub, prices are good and it's a very nice and friendly place definitely recommend
Just want to let you know we were very disappointed with the buffet you provided last night 9/7/25. We have had buffets with you before for family visits from Australia and been pleased with them. The food last night was bland and basic eg: ham and cheese sandwiches, pasties,pizza and quiche not at all like the other buffets we have had with you. So I am sorry to say we won't be visiting you again.
Very unwelcoming, staff were un helpful. We went in at 5.45 and sat down to eat after hearing great reviews about the food. Im disabled with two kids in tow. We had just battled through rush hour traffic to get there. We were told upon sitting that we'd only have 45 mins to order food and eat it which we obviously couldn't do. We didn't mind that because there was a darts team was coming in which is fair enough but we all found the member of staff to be cold , un helpful and un welcoming. Won't be re visiting sadly the vibe was off
Brilliant place. Food was superb We had roast dinner which had lots of vegetables your own jug of gravy, hunter's chicken which was outstanding and also scampi and chips which was also very good. They even sell Worthington on tap which is great! All round great service too polite, well mannered staff who were really helpful.

We all had a really great meal our compliments to the chef. The staff were amazing we would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.
We just popped in for lunch, was not disappointed after a check with the kitchen to check availability 2 of us went for Gammon and chips, 1 had lasagne. No complaints at all .All the food cooked fresh great straight out of kitchen to table not kept under heat lamps like you see in bigger chain restaurants. Will certainly recommend to friends.
Fantastic meal with great service. Order for a family of 4 meal, child's meals were very generous and good value for price. Adults had 10oz sirloin both cook amazingly! over heard that they had a new chef. First time there and definitely not my last time either.
