   Visited on a very busy Tuesday evening (they have a popular £12 main course night on a Tuesday, variety of dishes including steak) service was prompt, efficient and attentive. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area!

   We arrived promptly for our booking but had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated due to how busy the restaurant was. Once seated, our drinks order was taken promptly and served quickly. However, it was at least another 30 minutes before our food order was taken, and by the time our meals arrived, we had been in the restaurant for over an hour. Our guest ordered the fish and chips, which were served hot and nicely presented. My partner and I both chose the venison burger, but unfortunately, both were served in cold buns, and the patties themselves were dry and overcooked. The only redeeming feature on the plate was the hot, well-cooked chips. It was clear that the staff were under pressure, which may explain the inattentive service. That said, both servers listened to our feedback, and one main course along with three drinks were removed from the bill, which we appreciated.

   There were eleven of us having breakfast together after attending Colney ParkRun. Staff were really good. They were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. The photos are of Eggs benedict, Eggs and avocado on toast, and the full barrel fry up. I was very satisfied with the Eggs benedict, best I've had for a long time. (Complimentary toast too!)

   Such a welcoming atmosphere and great food as well. Staff were attentive without getting in the way of your lunch. The place looks great and the outside space is lovely too. Menu was varied with plenty of options. Would definitely go back!

   My family visited me this weekend and brought the dog up so we went here for a roast as it was a fog friendly pub. The staff serving us was lovely (believe their name was Laura?). So friendly, chatty and inviting. The food was lovely too and can't complain about the portion sizes.
