Consistent tasty food. Authentic Hong Kong menu and very reasonable prices. If you like sweet and sour HK style or roasted pork or duck etc you’ll love it here. Other dishes are great too! Staff are attentive and polite and food is served quickly, hot and fresh! Definitely has the 鑊氣!
Good value authentic food with fast service
I've been coming to this restaurant for absolutely years with my family and friends to celebrate birthdays and special occasions and I've even bought vouchers for presents too. It was my favourite restaurant in Brighton! I've always loved the warm friendly feel of the restaurant as well as, of course, the food! The last couple of times we've been, however, we've just felt disappointed, not only by the price and the quality of food, which has dramatically changed, but also by the service we've received too. Today we arrived for a late lunch and the restaurant was empty. You'd think they'd be friendly and welcome the customers in, but no,the waitress didn't say hello and was just rude and unfriendly. This waitress didn't use to work there but has been there the last few times and each time she has been particularly unfriendly and almost annoyed by the fact we had kids. Other people have commented on the same girl to me also. She didn't even set up our table or take our drinks order, only pointed at a table, which was half set, reluctantly sat us down and then walked off for ages. Another member of staff took our order and then continued to serve us, but again I'd say standards here have really gone downhill. The food was mediocre, and well, Good Friends it appears, just don't really look after their friends!! It's a great shame after such a long time but time to say goodbye.
The food was really really nice. Ordered Schezuan Monk’s vegetable with rice and sweet sour chicken. It was spicy and delicious. Although the staff gave off some racist vibes.

A waitress was really bad service. We were misunderstanding about the set menu and she was shouting at us. Moreover the duck was served as terrible as the picture. Like there were eaten before serving to us. The duck taste was good but other foods was not tasty at all.
