I ordered vegan chicken and they delivered actual chicken. After calling and complaining, the person I was speaking to was useless and unapologetic despite not following my dietary requirements. DO NOT ORDER
Take away Really impressed Food was hot on delivery, none of the food was oily, it was just so tasty, good food all round Equivalent to the China Garden, cannot fault it at all, thank u
Very disappointed. The takeaway used to be amazing. I haven't eaten there for a while but the first thing i noticed was the decline in quality and taste. Such a shame. Maybe new management or chef, but very noticeable. Hopefully the quality improves.
Used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway ever, but it’s like the supplier or restaurant has changed management because all the vegetarians dishes has changed, red bean bun small, satay was watery, veterinarian proteins changed pale imitation to what it was, smaller portions, food felt like it hardly had any soul to it. I used to be really excited to get a meal from here but I’m really disappointed with my last order - please go back to how it was :(
Not the best but also not the worst. Still not in my top three. They do have the only acceptable hygiene rating - which is 5 stars in case you were wondering - and unlike some nearby nameless competitors, you don't get double whammied here with a high minimum spend plus a delivery fee plus a card fee plus a bag fee - which is probably a big part of the reason I decided to order from here today to be honest - it was only when I looked at the reviews afterwards I saw I'd made a very similar review 2 years ago. The food will fill you up but theres just no sparkle.
Offering one star as I can’t give any lower. After sending the wrong rice and everything on the order being tepid at best, they offered to send the correct rice. I explained that everything would be freezing by the time this arrived and I would like certain items on the order replacing. The guy on the phone said they won’t do that and will just send a cash refund for the rice then hung up the phone. Still waiting for this over an hour later. For an order just under £40 this isn’t acceptable. This isn't the first instance of issues from the takeaway. Shame because this used to be our go to Chinese. In future I will AVOID.
Food arrived but several items were either completely wrong, or so badly cooked and incorrect that they just weren't what we ordered. Called to arrange replacement, but they would only offer to send replacement items within 45mins, by which time the rest of the food would have been freezing cold. Chow mein was totally dry and was like eating rubber. Fried rice was actually boiled rice. Chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Staff just didn't want to know...Once they have your cash they don't care. Avoid this overpriced rip off joint!
I recently ordered some food from this place, particularly liked the “King Prawn in spicy salt” and “king prawn chow mein”etc. will definitely come back ordering the same dish!
Amazing food and great quality at all time. They always deliver on time and we love their buns so gorgeous and super fluffy.
CHICKEN WAS RAWWW!!!! Please don’t order from here we ordered to Sussex uni for a night out with friends only to find that half of our orders had raw chicken. So so dangerous and when we called up they denied that we had raw chicken despite us offering proof photos that they didn’t even want to look at...
