Absolutely greet good. We loved the atmosphere too. Booking was hard when I called and the emailed. That needs to improve. Apart from the booking, a top venue for lovely, quick, and fresh food. Id go back.

Amazing flavours and quality. Big vegan menu, and clearly labelled on the menu. Quick service, friendly staff. Very fair prices. Good size drink menu also. Comfortable setting.

First, this is a lovely, clean and well-organised restaurant. It has an open kitchen where food is prepared meticulously and with care. The service area is equally clean and efficient. The chefs work together seamlessly. The noodles are indeed hand-pulled. After reading the reviews, I expected a great dish of Beef Rib with Biang Biang noodles. I watched it being prepared, layer by layer; it looked mouth-watering when it arrived. I was asked if I wanted a knife and fork for the beef? I said yes, just in case, not anticipating I would actually need them. The noodles were delicious. The beef, however, was not, and that is the main star of the dish, the reason, after the service charge, you pay a few pennies short of £20. There was no rib bone; it may or may not had one, In all honesty I am not even sure it was rib. The beef was cooked, yet somehow managed to be both overcooked and undercooked. It was dry, while the gelatinous parts were tough and inedible. I am happy to eat off-cuts and whatnots, but this was not enjoyable. It felt as though it had been cooked too quickly and for too long and not low and slow enough for the collagen to melt and create that moist, rich umami flavour. Sadly, it was very disappointing. I left my beef, a very rare occurrence for me. Maybe they were having an offer day (my review is based upon one dish), I hope so because I wanted to love this place)

Last minute decision to pop in around 8pm on a Saturday night. They found me a table for myself downstairs. Lovely friendly staff. Choose seaweed salad as a starter, then brocket beef noodles in broth. Waitress asked me how hot I wanted it, I said medium please. What came was very very hot, so hot I couldn’t drink the broth or finish the noodles. Such a shame as the meal itself was lovely, well portioned and presented.

Absolutely delicious spicy biangbiang style noodles. The noodles were being made at the counter fresh so they took a little time - but we had the cabbage salad (rich sesame sauce), the smacked cucumber and the scallion pie while we waited. Everything was very authentic and perfectly spiced. Great vegan menu - about 8 noodle dish choices, and a bunch of starters About £45 for 2 people including 2 beers each - great value too!

Much to my surprise, I found an extremely unfavourable review in other pages of this little gem of a place near Brighton railway station. That was a review of the takeaway service, and we have never done other than eat in, so perhaps the other reviewer had a one-off unfortunate experience. Many of the customers of this place are Chinese - and that is always a good sign when deciding whether to give an oriental cuisine restaurant a try: they really KNOW the good ones from the bad! Judging by the amount of takeaway trade the restaurant does whilst we are inside, it also has many satisfied customers for that side of the business. The menu covers all the usual Chinese fare, but many other interesting dishes not generally found in most restaurants of this type. The food is piping-hot and service is friendly and efficient. There are only four or five sit-in tables - as stated above, it is a modest establishment. House wine is excellent. We always enjoy our food here - we go regularly - and we have not been disappointed yet. Our meal, for two, the other day with several dishes and wine came to £42.00, which we thought very good value for what we had. Unfortunately, they do not do the big, chunky spring rolls, but there are many other tempting starters on offer. Do give it a try!

Definitely the best noodle place in the town. Super authentic Xi’anese cuisine with cozy environment. Love it you can see the chefs pulling noddles in the open kitchen, just like the way how we make it in Xi’an. The staff are also super friendly. I always come here with colleagues after work.

I got a takeaway from here. I ordered the dumplings in hot and sour soup. They had only meat dumpling options on the menu but they had no problem to give me vegetarian ones. The dish was delicious! The dumplings were filled well and melted in my mouth. The soup was both perfectly hot and sour. I ate every last drop. I will definitely return and with friends so we can try all the dishes!! It wasn’t the cheapest but is worth it.
