I can not fault this pub in any way at all! The food was delicious, the service was 5 star with super friendly staff. The pub itself was warm and cosy. I highly recommend this pub to all

I had chicken supreme as my main, the sauce was super nice and the chicken was lovely. I had the chocolate and hazelnut torte for dessert and it was also super tasty. However, the service wasn't the best as one of the meals went missing before it reached the table. They are extremely understaffed, especially for the size of the restaurant.

We came across this pub after a day an Alton Towers, when we arrived we was greeted with lovely staff and atmosphere. Ordered some drinks and decided to stay for food. Ordered steak which was cooked to perfection. And a pork schnitzel which was full of flavour. Everything came out piping hot. Ordered 2 sausages for my daughter who doesn’t like peas and chips and they reduced the price for this reason. Lovely wine too. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. Was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!

What an amazing find! Lovely gastro pub within 5 minutes of Alton towers hotels. Service was exemplary. Food was outstanding and plentiful. Would highly recommend.

Had a steady few hours here with the kids in the beer garden, it's not a beer garden as such as playing area or anything like that it's seating out side... Staff polite and friendly. I had a few pints of ale the kids had moctails, we had a few nibbles and side orders as well while there which were nice especially the bread and melted brie which I would recommend..

We ate here on an evening whilst camping up the road and it was definitely an amazing find! We were greeted and seated instantly and the service from the waitresses was great. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Malbec and tucked into some of the nibbles which were delicious (highly recommend the home made scratchings and bread basket). The Korean chicken starter was tasty but the 2 best courses were by far the huge tomahawk pork steak with an amazing sauce and then saving the best for last, a giant slab of sticky toffee pudding which was incredible! Whilst waiting for a taxi back we enjoyed some delicious cocktails from their bar. Highly recommended to come check this place out if in the area

Forgot to take a picture of the main meal but the food was top quality, with fresh and local ingredients. Good beer and friendly staff. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Alton Towers. Would highly recommend!

Really lovely staff and fantastic food. So much so we've been here three times in as many days. If you love burgers then the brisket burger is a must. It's off the chart. I couldn't get it out of my mind the next day and had it again that night. Incredible. The Star breakfast is also up there. Really tasty. Our daft dog was also welcome. Oh, and the background music was inspired. A great Motown playlist created a beautiful vibe. Brilliant. Well worth popping in if you're passing or camping nearby.
