   Fantastic service and food!! My favourite pub so far!! I travel from Nottingham to Stoke to come here on a regular basis. I’ve tried many pubs and nothing beats this one! Love the open fires in the winter. Great selection of wines and port. They have their own port bible. The staff have always been great especially the guy behind the bar, I think his name is Dan. I would highly recommend and definitely book in advance as it’s always busy!

   Beautiful country pub! We had a family dinner here, 15 of us across 4 generations, and it was excellent for all of us! The staff were attentive, despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon, with lots of other groups in too. What a beautiful, atmospheric place! Welcoming, clean, accessible, and busy - we'll definitely be back again soon.

   Great pub . We stopped here whilst travelling the A6 .. rather than crappy motorway stops. Yes, about small detour but worth it. If u have the time, definitely stop here.

   Mine and my best friends first time here tonight after looking around all week online to find a nice country pub for a catch up. What a place ! The staff are absolutely lovely. Food was amazing and very well priced. The beer garden and interior are both just stunning! We left feeling like we had been on a spa weekend. Loved it so much we are going back on Friday!
