If you want hot fish and hot chips go to porthill chippy or hartshill chippy. If you are desperate go to dancing octopus. This place has gone down. The chips arnt fresh and are cold. The fish for the expensive price it is well cold again.
Seabridge Fish Bar is hands down the best in Newcastle-under-Lyme! Their fish and chips are always cooked to perfection – crispy batter, soft and fluffy inside. But don't even get me started on their kebabs! They take such care to let the excess grease drain off before serving, which makes all the difference. And the staff – Stavro, Jess (Expecially Jess, like tonight (Thurs 7th August), instantly saw my car and started waving at me, so friendly), Paula, and the rest of the team – are always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! They also have great deals on all other meals like, fantastic sausages, brilliant pies, and burgers that are juicier and cheesier!" 11/10!!!!
This used to be a fantastic chippy but the past few months it's really gone down hill, food isn't as tasty, smaller portions and when you order with specific instructions they can't seem to follow them and food turns up incorrect. I've been using this chippy for years but I won't be using them again in a hurry, it's a shame .
Excellent service and on time, which was much sooner than expected. The food was outstanding and hot when it arrived, and it was a very large order for 14 people, all of whom really enjoyed, especially the usual quality of the fish. Probably the best chippy around and I would highly recommend them. Thank you.
Right after two visits to this chip shop l have had very serious runs and sickness first lot was really bad couldn't eat for 3 to 4 days after then last night same again sickness and runs really angry that you pay good money then your ill never use that chip shop again.
Chips are decent, fish is good, curry sauce is lovely, Sausages good, batter on fish is not golden and crunchy, its usually a bit dark flat and thin which makes little difference to the taste, looks like a beer batter. Value is good though, £6.70 for a good size box with loads of chips and small fish, and curry sauce.. well worth the money.
