   Staff were very welcoming chatty and friendly. There is on street parking directly in front of the shop but currently road works prevent parking (June 25). There is a car park just around the corner. Food was prepared swiftly and piping hot. We ordered 3 main dishes and received free prawn crackers and 3 fortune cookies. 1st dish was: Boiled rice was nice and sticky. Sweet and sour chicken balls had a good amount or portion. The chicken balls were a decent size good cooked chicken breast. They were coated in a batter which for me was a bit too thick. The sweat and sour sauce was ok but personally I thought it tasted a bit bland. 2nd dish was: Chicken omelette and chips. A good and tasty omelette with food portion size. 3rd dish was: Duck chow mein. There was a good amount of duck and noodles. This was the gravy version and it kept the duck nice and moist. It tasted fine and not too salty like some other places. Overall if I was in the area again id be happy to try other food from the menue.

   Unfortunately the chicken curry was more like chicken in jelly no sauce the soup I order was the same like jelly spent £48 pound only thing I ate was vecimillie noodles wud not recommend

   Food absolutely vile first time ordering never again £26.10 down the drain what a waste and when adding all the items up it come up cheaper but they charged all that the beef was horrendous like rubber the chicken in the chicken chow mein was horrible the rice had no taste at all all the food going in the bin

   My Wife and I definitely to have our first Chinese takeaway since this Covid 19 malarkey started, so we decided to order from a Chinese takeaway about 3 miles away from our Gaff, the takeaway is named China Red located in Butt Lane, we are in Alsager so not too far away. Well have never ordered from here before we took a chance to order only because they delivered, so we ordered chicken fried rice and a Beef Chow main and Banana fritters in Batter, all I can say is that we were not disappointed. The portions was plenty enough for 4 persons and it was delicious, do much so we saved the rest till tomorrow nights Dinner there was plenty all at the price of 18 pounds you cannot go wrong for the price, when scrolling through the menu by Google it also said Red China has a hygiene rating of 3 out of 5 which would of put us off if it was a 2 or below we both were not disappointed, it was very tasty and arrived on time as the person who took our order said 40 minutes intact it was at our Gaff in 22 minutes piping hot. So if anyone is thinking of trying a different Chinese take away other than Alsager why not give it a go. If I was going to rate the food and service I would put a big fat 8 out of 10 and that's an honest opinion. Good luck all and if last nights food was to go by I would definitely order from Red China again.
