Not sure what’s happened to customer service but the staff in this branch are far worse than any other Clarks shop I’ve been to. Agree with similar comments in other reviews about them being totally disinterested. I actually found a pair of shoes I quite liked but the whole shopping experience put me off so I didn’t buy them.
Took our two kids here on a busy Saturday to get new school shoes. The assistant who helped was infinitely patient, kind and friendly. She put up with all of our children who werent the most reasonable customers. She engaged with them and got their input which they really liked. Super helpful and in no way pushy or offhand.
Excellent experience today, Jo helped me so well, made everything no pressure and easy. Found out what I was really after rather than up selling, ended up with 3 pairs for what I was expecting to spend on 2. Spot on. Rare Service, thank you.
I visited Clarke’s shoe shop in the Mall in Brighton today. I was looking for some flat comfortable shoes that would suit my arthritic feet. It is difficult for me to find shoes that I can wear and usually have to rely on trainers. One of the assistants in the shop, Matt, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to find a pair of brogue type shoes in a wide fitting that fitted my feet beautifully. He made my day!
The lovely assistant was extremely helpful and never left me feeling I was a nuisance as I have experienced other shoe shops. He found me some perfect boots which was amazing as I do not have easy to fit feet. ☺️
Good range of shoes and styles though didn't have any of the shoes I needed in my size. Assistant was very helpful
Fantastic member of staff helped us get my grandson’s new shoes for school. Niaz went above and beyond to be helpful. Wish there were more about like him. A credit to the store.
