The lady that works there is an absolute gem lovely customer service. Gets busy sometimes but the wait is always worth it! Menu has so many options but I recommend: Salt and chilli chicken and beef chow mein
Absolutely disgusting. Order was wrong and the rice was hard. Asked for no veg and yet the whole meal had veg. Not the first time this has happened can safely say i will not be returning
Ordered food yesterday, went for my usual mushroom chow mein, whilst my husband went for his usual king prawn fried rice and duck chow mein. The portions are very generous and the food is really good. I also went for egg fried rice with curry and chips, and that was also really good, great portion for being a side!! Enough food to have left overs for lunch the next day, which is super!
I am visiting from abroad and found this gem of a restaurant on google maps. Wow! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The sweet and sour chicken was lightly breaded and loaded with lots of great quality chicken. The meal came very hot and fresh and was accompanied by delicious complimentary prawn crackers. I called in advance with (many) questions and the lady was very kind and patient over the phone. She even included complimentary chili oil for me to try! The portions are also very generous. What a great overall experience. Highly recommend.

Last night was the third or fourth time we've ordered a big family feast from China Spice and I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else, ever. In fact, another takeaway would be likely to be such a downgrade I'd probably cry. As usual, every single dish was delicious, the portions generous, the politeness and helpfulness of the staff second to none. We specified 9 o'clock ('please not too early' as some places get this wildly wrong) and they hit it on the nail. It was one very classy touch, however, that prompted me to write this review. About 45 mins before the food arrived I called up to order a 'child's portion' of chips as I explained we had a 3 year old nephew who pretty much refused to eat anything bar chips and sausages. Not only did they say they wouldn't charge me for this, when we opened the (large) child's portion they'd included some sausages also. My only qualm about posting this review would be that China Spice might get even more busy and not be able deliver next time we want food! But I'll take that chance, because this fantastic local business deserves the success that will inevitably come its way. Six stars!
Best Chinese in Northampton. Been ordering here from a while. Tonight on my collection order I ordered 2 x curry sauce and they accidentally gave me one. I said I’d go back to collect it as it’s round the corner but they delivered it for me super quickly and with free drinks ☺️ Lovely service thank you
