   Two days before Christmas we needed a new washing machine and dishwasher. Steve at Smythe and Barrie could not have been more helpful. Two new machines were delivered by Mark and Simon on Christmas Eve and plumbed in, turned out not to be the easiest of jobs but they were undeterred and completed the job, they also removed the old machines. I can’t recommend all of the team enough, they were fantastic.

   We had an oven problem that could not be resolved the day before Christmas Eve and Smythe&Barrie delivered a replacement the next day.The whole operation was efficient and we can now cook with a new oven. I will definitely be using this company again!

   I have just received my Beautiful New Television from Smythe and Barrie Ltd. They were so very helpful when we first enquired about the Television I was interested in. A VERY nice and most helpful gentleman called Simon delivered it at the time that was stated, he explained everything fully and installed it and set it up perfectly. I would NOT hesitate to purchase from them again and I would readily recommend them to ANYONE. So lovely to have such a great polite and wonderful service. THANK YOU.

   Excellent service. Our old dishwasher died after over 20 years use 2 weeks before Christmas and having done a bit of research, rang S&B at 2.30pm and by 4.00pm our new dishwasher was installed and working! Other local suppliers had quoted a 10 day timescale. Unbeatable!!

   I bought a dishwasher from Smythe and Barrie in Hailsham and honestly, I’m still smiling about the whole experience. The very next day it was delivered and installed, and the delivery guys were absolute stars. Not only did one of them walk me through all the dishwasher programs like a proud parent showing off their first child… they even swept my floor!! From the moment I called the shop and spoke to Steve, everything was smooth. I explained what I needed, he talked me through the options without any sales pressure, and helped me figure out what would actually suit me. Proper customer service — the kind you don’t see every day. And the best part? When I went in to pay, I was offered a biscuit. A BISCUIT. That’s next-level service right there. Five stars from me for excellent customer care from start to finish. Highly recommend!

   I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. They matched the price I’d found online for the freezer I wanted, and even found a better value alternative. They warned me about a delay on the delivery time, but it came on the day they said, at EXACTLY the time we’d arranged. Excellent service and great value. Will definitely use again.

They’ve also helped me out with advice over the phone many a time with advice. My family and I having going to them for many years and I would not use anywhere else.
