   Fantastic service this evening, I had new front lightbulbs fitted and new windscreen wipers fitted by a very competent young man in the pouring rain. Very impressed. Whilst in the store the manager ably dealt with “yobs” that were causing a disturbance in the store. Well done to all the staff that served me today. Thank you.

   Lovely service lady at the till. Storewas very busy and queue was long but she remained calm and friendly. Mentioned Halfords premium membership when she saw my purchases and I signed up there and then. Painless. She directed me to where I could book an MOT. She had 2 minutes left of her shift. When I returned she was still patiently handing over. Excellent Shout out to her!

   Thought i would accept Halfords generous offer of a free Brake test, as I had heard a noise when I was braking. On handing over in the garage I informed them of this. When returning to the garage later that day, I was informed of a few issues found to the cost of just under £500. Everything seemed ok when I drove away and Louis in reception the only plus point was very amenable. Driving to work the next day, I discovered the noise was worse, and on examining the car myself, I discovered that the front wheel was red hot, I deducted that the caliper was sticking. I took it back to the garage and told them I believe they had missed this. Which was just basically shrugged off, and I was told they dont miss things!!!!!.Don't they??? They then checked again and the front wheel that was hot had a siezed caliper. They were going to charge me at least another £300, although they were checking the ABS, and i would not.be surprised if something was found wrong with that aswell. I found another garage todo the work, charging half the price for the cost the caliper, never mind the labour charge. On explaining my experience in the other garage, I was told that he had a number of customers, that had taken the option of one of there free checks. I should realise nothing is for free, and these other clients all needed work doing apparently, but on being checked by this garage work was being done in his opinion for the sake of it. To say the least a very extremely disappointing experience .

   Jake the bike mechanic went above and beyond to service and work on my bike. It went in a little worse for wear and came out better than it’s ever been. - upgraded my old handle bars to Aeros, - changed & re routing all the cables - wrapping new bar tape - adjusted the break and gear levers. - fixed my front mec - fitted a new rear cassette - fitted a new jockey wheel - gave the bike a ‘platinum service’ Throughout the service he kept me updated on how it was going and any recommendations he would advise. All in all a very diligent, knowledge and trustworthy man. 10/10 Many thanks Tom

   The lady at reception was most helpful, directing me to find the correct rear windscreen wiper for my Nissan leaf. She was friendly and pleasant . I waited outside by my car and there were a team of 3 young guys fitting bulbs and wiper blades. I did not have to wait very long until one fitted my wiper blade. He was most efficient and courteous. The fitting cost was £5 which was good value. The total cost including a new bosche wiper blade , fitting and vat was £11.79 which sounded reasonable to me. I could have probably fitted the blade myself, but was pleased with the overall experience of dealing with Halfords Eastbourne.

   My wife bought some wheel trims and had them fitted. She has just joined Halfords motoring club for free. She said the young man who served her was very polite and helpful. He asked if she would like the vehicle checked. 10 checks on tires, wipers ,indicators, oil, battery and screen wash topped up, wheel trims fitted and cable tyes applied. Excellent service and a £5 discount voucher applied too. Well done Halfords
