Was advised to bring items into store for a refund as a “gesture of good will”. When arrived, having travelled and paid for parking, I was told by a manager and store manager that this is not possible, that the tills supposedly cannot process it. I showed the message from the customer service team as proof, with the reference number that cs said they could use to process a refund, but the staff denied this and claimed the reference number was “just to show you’ve spoken to someone.” Left the store and contacted customer services to be told that actually, had the staff phoned customer services with the reference number, they’d have been told to process the refund. Perhaps the staff did not know about this process, or perhaps were just too lazy to pick up the phone and find out. Thanks to the customer service team, who are blatantly more competent than those who run the store, my refund is being processed, as it is clearly doable :)

Waited in the queue for 5 mins to sort a return. A member of staff then told me to use the returns self scan box, left the queue to give it a go. Tapped the link in my email, entered the code, application error. I then spent a couple mins trying before giving up as it was an application error not internet. Rejoined the queue which had doubled in size with only 1 member of staff working (multiple around the shop looking at the queue). Finally got to the front after 10 minutes, to then be told I HAD to use the returns box. Explained that I’d already tried and it wouldn’t work, showing the error message. Instead of just quickly sorting the return there, I was told to try again and if not come back to the queue and they’d scan it in. I ended up insisting that if they could scan it themselves why couldn’t they just do it then as I’d already shown that the process wasn’t working and waited in the queue for 15 mins. They finally scanned my parcel and took it in. This whole process took less than 10 seconds to scan it.

probably the rudest customer service i’ve ever encountered. waited in the longest queue to not even be greeted with a hello and the most attitude after asking for a paper receipt making it seem like my problem. disgusting customer service and by the sound of other reviews they have experienced it too. will never come back again, good bargains tho.

The customer service st St Stephens was terrible. I was really embarrased by the Manager of that branch, I was told. I bought a pair of trousers for my daughter on 22/6/24 which I returned 3days later (25th) as it was not the right size. I was not issued a receipt as I was told that I will get the receipt via email which I didn't receive. I met the manager, she embarrased me. She requested I open up my virtual card, she took time to scrutinize my debit card including the code and she went through my email address, at that point I was not comfortable anymore as I felt she was overstepping her boundaries. I wish to state categorically that should U detect any fraudulent transaction linked to that card, she was would be my first suspect because she went too far.

Need a more bigger space like M&S, despite they have very good designs and price is also good and not too expensive

Friendly, helpful staff. Wasn't busy when we went. A good selection of styles. Was able to try the clothes out before buying.

I did get frustrated with the shop, I entered on the first floor and did not find what I was looking for. There are no signs saying where departments are. I went downstairs out of curiosity and found the ladies coats I was looking for. One person serving and I queued longer than I would have liked. I mentioned that I was looking for the petit section and was told it was round the corner!!! Annoying that no sign is visible until you get there. But they only had small sizes in this range. So a bit disappointed in this store.

I came on 18/12/2019 at 10:15am to get a Christmas present for my partner I went to speak to Carole in the shoe department and she was very polite and very passionate about customer service! Unfortunately they didn’t have what I required in store, but she took me over to the tills at 10:26 and checked for me and we ordered the product online, going that extra step in any business is very important to me, shows they enjoy their job and they care about the customer! Without a doubt the best customer service I have seen in a long time! Loved the banter too very happy with the service.
