Loved this Brighton café! We popped in on Monday after seeing they’d won a Brava award, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The space is bright and airy with huge windows overlooking the beautiful Queens Park Arch, and the quirky, stylish interior adds so much charm. The food was incredible, with genuinely thoughtful gluten-free and vegan dishes—not just the standard options. As someone who avoids gluten, it was amazing to have real choice and truly delicious meals. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the white chocolate matcha we had was perfect—properly made and full of flavour. Such a gorgeous spot. Would 100% go back!

Place so good & cosy we visited each morning of our trip to Brighton! ;) Located next to Queen’s Park, it’s the perfect spot for a coffee break. The food was delicious as well. We were able to try a different dish each day and nothing disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with love and care. It was the perfect start to our day. I would love to come back when I visit again. Small tip: if you want to come during the weekend I would recommend booking a table on their site (very easy to do).

This was our favorite brunch spot in Brighton and the best brunch we’ve had in the UK!! Unfortunately it was our last day in town so we didn’t have time to come back again, but definitely would have. The pancakes were melt in you mouth perfect and the jam was so good we tried asking if they sold it by the jar. Pistachio latte was great. The star of the show was the eggs on toast, which we definitely recommend!

Amazing brunch spot and gorgeous location. Brunch dishes are very unique and different to anywhere else in Brighton. So close to the seafront and right outside of Queens Park. Using locally roasted coffee and local ingredients, we'll definitely be visiting again. Super friendly staff too!

On a grey and drizzly Brighton morning Starfish is bustling. Friendly greeting and decent ambience. Oat flat white (Oatly) was excellent. Latte was apparently v good too. Slightly noisy, partly because it was very busy. Not tried the food but it was booked out which was a good sign.

Really great food and coffee every time we’ve been here. Keep coming back for more. Had an oat chai latte today also delicious. Fan of Prince so a fan of the general ‘purple one’ vibe in here too. Always busy - good to book.

Located near Queen’s Park just a few minutes walk from Brighton Pier and away from the busy central Brighton. We reserved for 10AM the day before. Arrived a bit earlier but was welcomed then brought to our table after checking our booking. The café has a nice vibe, bright and clean. A few hanging plants and lovely little touches such as fresh flowers on the table. Make sure you have your mobile phone as menu is only available on their website except for drinks which is listed on the board. Call me old fashioned but I still prefer seeing hard copy of the menu. It’s part of the experience! By the way, pets are allowed but not your laptops. Tap water served. Ordered loose leaf green tea which was served right away. Then we ordered veggie and vegan breakfast. Food took nearly 30 mins. Not sure what happened as no explanation was given. Lovely presentation as you can see from the photos. Very tasty beans, mushrooms and toasts. Only one tiny sausage though (in my opinion) and tasted ok. Could be cooked a bit more. Overall, still 4 stars and would come back again.

Really amazing brunch. It’s a little out of the way if you’re in central Brighton or hove but totally worth it. The staff are so friendly and really helpful. Such great veggie and vegan options too. The spring pancakes and the vegan hash were so good the other day. Excellent coffee and iced tea too!
