Genuinely one of the nicest spots in Brighton, especially Kemptown. Ever since the new management took over, it's become its own great little community. Plus the coffee is amazing! I wouldn't give much attention to these weird recent negative reviews, like they're written as some sort of slander or negative review bomb? I don't know just seem odd and irrelevant to me This place is in the perfect area to people watch, have delicious coffee, chill out and do your own work, and just feel like you're part of the vibe of the city without all the noise The staff there are really nice too, just super friendly and engaging. A beautiful little community that's an easy stroll from town and also a great local. Highly recommend! (P.S. Ask for Felicia the owner if you'd like the best service)

My first visit. I liked the benches around the edges to work. The wifi was very quick but it was a tricky password. Food was ok. The stained cushions on the benches put me off a bit.

I always love coming to this cafe because it's cosy, laptop friendly and is great value for money! It feels like a real community cafe where the staff remember you and care. The portions are huge and always leave you satisfied. Also the natural light and plants make it a lovely place to sit.

Good quality and well cooked breakfast. Usual price for the area for one sausage breakfast but good to have bloody pudding too. Staff friendly.

Loyalty cards- been going to this cafe for some time and had accumulated several loyalty cards. When I presented them thinking it added up to a free coffee, I was told that as the establishment is under new management, they do not accept old loyalty cards (the bottom two in my photo). I think this is really poor as it was for one coffee! If they cared about customer loyalty would it have really been that hard to spare a single coffee? How much is one coffee worth? Will I return- NO. Lost business from someone who has lived in Brighton for more than 30 years, how much is that worth????

We had a breakfast here, the coffee and the croissant were very good and Cezary, the chef went the extra mile for us. Highly recommend. Emanuele, Kate and Peter

We went for brunch and had the pancakes and the avocado toast. Both were extremely delicious and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The service was probably the highlight of our experience there, the waiter was so attentive and the new owner was so kind, even giving us recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Brighton. We would definitely come again and definitely recommend!!

Such a lovely place with great food and really friendly staff! In my opinion, it’s actually really fairly priced for what you get because the food was delicious and it filled us up all day. My sisters and I went for Brunch and I got the Overnight Oats while they got the Açai Bowls. All of it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing - I would absolutely recommend!

Nice place to sit to enjoy coffee. Nice staff. The coffee however was too strong for my liking and the Nutella Croissant was average.

Nice local chain with good vibes and a good iced matcha late. No AirCon and pricier drinks than average, but still a nice spot to relax after a long day at the beach. Bathroom situation and arrived not so great (but perhaps due to short staff, no big deal)
