A lovely cosy pub but it’s a wonder that they have any regulars with that kind of pricing. I’ve noticed that Brighton is very expensive, but £7.20 for a pint of Moretti is absolutely criminal. That kind of pricing makes The Edinburgh, which has a much nicer interior and vibe, look cheap. Friendly service and clean facilities, however.

Within 24 hours of moving in round the corner, we met Fred, Keith and Joe at the Marine Tavern and have been unapologetically welcomed into the kemp town community. This is now our favourite pub - they always have fantastic live acts on so there’s never a dull moment. They create a welcoming atmosphere and the drinks are priced reasonably. The team always make us feel so welcome. Going to the Marine Tavern is now the highlight of our week.

Had the best time here before the On The Beach in the summer. Barman Keith was fantastic and we ended up staying for hours instead of "only popping in for one" will 100% be back

For sure the best queer Pub in town. Everything was just wonderful: the staff, the atmosphere, the community and our nights there. Thank you for having us. I’ll definitely come back soon!

Such a gem. We were just having a sit down with a lemonade with a lovely bunch of people joined us and included us in their group with jokes and fun times to be had. Will definitely go back next time we're in town

We only popped in for a quick drink on a day trip to Brighton. Barman was really nice and friendly. The tavern was clean and comfortable.

What an amazing find. On our way back to where we were staying tucked down a road we saw a tiny pub and popped in for one. We left 4 hours later a little worse for wear. The regulars were really lovely and the manager behind the bar was such a lovely guy. We managed to fill our loyalty card twice and got two free drinks. There was a drag act Cander Ell (sweet but fake) who was bloody amazing and took requests for songs she was brilliant. When she finished pooped back for a drink. All in all a fab night and I would go back to Brighton just fir this pub. Thanks guys.

Coming to Brighton for a day trip from London, my friend, the journalist from Inpark Magazine suggested we stop by this gay (friendly) bar, for one last drink before we left Brighton this evening. The patrons , bar tender, and the drag queen, were so friendly. We had a great time. Definitely, a must visit place if you want to feel welcomed. Highly recommend. Great classic pub decore, and reasonable prices.

£10 for a generous, homemade roast, £2 extra for pig in a blanket and stuffing balls. The roast comes with a choice of meat (lamb, chicken or beef), cheesy leeks, Yorkshire pudding, steam broccoli, roasted carrots, roast potatoes, mash, cheese sauce, gravy and a choice of mustard, mint sauce or horseradish.
